Hi All

Seems to be a lot of scraches and chips on my side skirts and doors from stones etc fliping up i guess from the tyres and also the back of my car gets really dirty very quick.
Was wondering if mudd flaps were my answer, or do they look pants on the car.

Any pics or comments please,

Simon

Try this Mudflaps cant remember wether excluding vat or whatever.

easy to fit. you will have to get them colour coded if you have colour coded sills otherwise it will look naff.

ask them they will do it for you. costs a bot though to paint, so maybe try and get something else painted at same time, cuts cost. Or when i had these oin my 1st scoob my mate did them with a couple of spray cans for about £20.

Thumbs up

I've the STi mudflaps on, only fault is they drag along the road when cornering or have 3 or 4 people in the car.

They were on the car when I bought it, but I know these one's are dear. There was a thread on here with replica one's being made.

You can buy standard mud flaps from Subaru, they arnt ment for the trubo as they dont fit the sills exactly right but you would have to look realy hard to tell.
I think they are something like £12 a pair.
Ahhh Ive just found a link to a post with the parts number and some pics.

Cool

Hi Simon

I've had mine on for a couple of years, really pleased with them.
Here's a photo from the front http://www.jlh-associates.com/images/flaps1.jpg, one from the back http://www.jlh-associates.com/images/flaps2.jpg and one of my calipers http://www.jlh-associates.com/images/calipers1.jpg that I have now colour coded to match. When I am driving along apparently the wheels blur but the caliper and the Scooby name show up clearly. Saw a pic and just had to do it!!

Steve

A bit late but I spotted these on the Subaru UK site

Splashguard Kit - TS only

part no: J1010FE220
£39.95

The picture is a bit dark but they look like a sort of moulded mudflap. Price sounds OK - unless that is each.

Anydody seen/used these - I want a set of flaps too.

Have a look at this thread I started way back in May.I just dug it out for you. This assumes that you have an MY01 or later though!!! (You didn't mention what model Impreza you have!)

Here's a pic of the mudflaps (Which are incidentally for a P1) fitted to my car:

Good luck

Nick

Mudflaps are an intersting topic with my car.

I could swear that when I bought it, 2nd hand and 9 months old, the dealer said the only extra it had were mudflaps.

Car went in for its corrosion warranty check service when one year old and I collected it. Drove home, chatted to my neighbour and he said "What you had done to the car" I Said "Nothing apart from a corrision check". He says it looks different, I looked and yes it did look different.

One for is for certain it definitely now has no mudflaps. The only problem is I can't say for certain that it had mudflaps in the first place!

Tooltec/Attu,

I have the Subaru-UK standard moulded flaps on the front of my STi UK. Not the Cheapest, but very solid and quite a substantial degree of protection: and they do the biz. Very happy - the P1 ones look a bit insubstantial to my eyes.

Nope. As in www.subaru.co.uk click on accessories, click on Impreza, click on exterior and scroll to "splashguards"! Where'd those come from??

My flaps are adjustable for lowdown rally effect or everyday ground clearance. Simple to alter, just slacken the bolts and slide the flaps up or down for the required effect. New age only at the moment though..
