Had no intention of getting a new car on my week in Plymouth so took my girlfriends Honda Civic. So we did 500 miles Glasgow -> Plymouth. Turned out there was a P1 I liked so phoned up just to enquire and one thing lead to another and I was going to look at the car in Oxford the next day. One small problem though, my car I was using for trade was still in Glasgow soooooooo back in the Civic and after a short Plymouth -> Glasgow trip I picked up my MR2. Had a whole 3 hours sleep and set off in my Mk2 knackered MR2 back to Bristol for 10am. Spent the day in Bristol before travelling up to Oxford to pick up the car. Then drove the car all the way back to Plymouth before finally driving all the way back to Glasgow yesterday!!!!!!

And by the way, yes it was worth it and I would do it again

Thumbs up

Ive always said you will have to travel to find a good car.

I traveled from nottingham to blackburn and yes mine was worth it as well.

Hope you enjoy it as much as i do mine

Had never driven a Subaru before so climbing out of a mk2 MR2 with a slipping clutch into a P1 was a bit of a change up!!! Ta for the peeps giving me advice on which car to get.

Took my car back to the dodgy Subaru dealer who tried to flog me the STI 7 and he was gutted. He didn't take me seriously and didn't think I could afford it so when I turned up in my new car he almost cried over the loss of commission

Cheek of the bloke. First he asked me if I was serious, then what I did. He asked if my job paid well and I said "well its better than a paper round" but he still kept quizzing me! My job is better paid than a cheeky Subaru salesman who doesn't get commission for selling their only STI7. Up yer bottom git pants.

Sorry but he really annoyed me!!!!

The guy I dealt with just looked at me and refused to discuss prices or look at my trade in... ******. So I went to the Subaru Dealership instead and he lost a 12k sale
