thought of getting either a scobby or an evo, can be new or used really depends on performance. some ppl said version some said ver. 3 sti has the best engine (close deck type?) some said ver. 6 sti or ver. 6 p1. Also i have done some research on evo too, seems like evo 5 has best engine. Not to mention the look, just the performance i'm after, personally i kind of like evo. 6 TMC, evo. 7 or the new ugly impreza sti... with 6 speed shift !!
Can someone please help with as much suggestion as possible? I really hate to make the wrong choice.....

Sorry for my english, moved to uk just 3 months ago, so have no knowlege about which tuners is the best in town... etc...

Get yourself a RB5 WRSport version.
Absolutely fantastic....

 

Test Drive both. Which to go for is down to personal preference.

 

I test drove the EVO 5 and an STI5 type R back in late 99 the Scoob was much better in my view, hence I bought a 4 door STI V5 but if I had drove the EVO 6 I think my decision would had gone in Mitsubishi's favor.

If you look at the Wanted threads you will find a few guys looking for STI V4,5 & 6. In my view they are the best examples and closely rally spec related cars.

The P1 being far too expensive and made far to U.K thus losing all the fun (As I am about to lose friends due to my quote)and really not that close to the STI 6 it began as.

STI 5/6 or EVO 6 .

0-60 ??. Evo 6 against the STI 5 and 6 well Evo by all of 0.1 seconds ..oooh ooh! Not that us everyday drivers would tell. Look for the ride and comfort as well as the speed. I have had replaced My standard STI springs for Eibachs to get a better/softer ride and increase body roll on track.

Yup, Sti 3 is suposed to have the best engine for tuning, something to do with its cam profiles I think.
