Anyone know where I can get side protection strips for a P1. My dealer reckons they are not available, but I remember seeing them on a car recently. Cheers ANDY

Andy,

Get your dealer to look up Part number SACC1222 Side Moulding. (supplied in black)

From memory I Think they cost about £50.00 + Vat.

Cheers,

Rob

Nope,

Your dealer must be right - they always are.

No such thing exists.

Kurt,

Is that your own P1? Was it easily done? Thinking of getting some mods to the car in the next month. Might be a good idea to get it done myself.

May I ask how much it cost?

Ozzy

I'll attempt most things, but wouldn't have a go at fitting the side strips - they are way too flexible.

My dealer fitted them to my P1 and did a superb job.

I think they finish the car off to a tee (or the dogs B******S). Got mine dealer fitted and painted about £150.00 also. Have had other P1 owners asking the same where to I get them FROM the DEALER.

OK, I think we all understand that you get them from your dealer, but how come they are so expensive? I had my bonnet and front bumper resprayed for not more than £150.

I'll need to speak to my dealer as to how they can justify the price.
