Default JDM history advice needed

Hi everyone,

Long time enthusiast looking for expert options

I am looking at buying a JDM 2002 Blobeye. It looks immaculate and has done 59k kilometers (around 36k miles) it’s the perfect spec I’ve been looking for.

The car was imported by a reputable imported in 2020 has had 2 uk owners. The history however doesn’t stack up as the Japanese warranty begins in 2014 as does the service history appearing it begin in 2014 and the date of registrations says 2014.

Has anyone else come across this and is it a big red flag?

make sure you actually pay the fee and input the correct details into the carvx portal or it simply shows random data............

just to add if you have the chassis number then https://www.type-ra.com/subaru-forum/ will likely be able to assist with their model checker........

So many cars are clocked in Japan. 1600 miles a year for 22 years isn't necessarily a good thing
