Default Haynes manual or similar for a 2008 JDM Sti hatchback.

I've been searching for a Haynes manual for a while for a 2008 JDM Sti hatchback, the only one i've come across is this one

https://haynes.com/en-gb/subaru/impr...-sti/2004-2014

Is that all that;'s available ? What i mainly need it for is torque settings, if anyone has the manual above can you tell me if its of any use to us with an Sti hatchback, does it have the torque settings in for the most common type jobs, if anyone knows of anywhere else i can get torque settings for the hatch it will be appreciated and feel free to post.

I would expect that book should cover most of it torque wise , a would expect a 2 litre sti engine in say a 2004 would be the same as a 2 litre jdm in a 2008 torque e weird , as is more or less the same engine , I for the more regular jobs look on line , as I am sure you know as a regular poster that there is lots of info on line 👍

Blimey £36 now! I paid £20 not that long ago. Yes, I've got that manual and finding it of some use for my MY2000 non-turbo Classic Wagon. Better than nothing anyway. I know that they're always sealed in the shops so you can't flick through it to assess for yourself if it would be useful. If you've got a particular question I can answer for you from the book, better pm me, I guess.

I'm just debating whether to buy the online digital version rather than the book itself as i read the paper is really thin now on the Haynes manuals compared to what it used to be in the past, i nice big PC screen compared to turning over flimsy pages.

Probably better off just finding a FSM online for free. I’ve got both the Haynes book and a copy of the FSM for both my Newage Impreza’s. Don’t think I’ve once bothered looking in the book over the FSM. You’re right about the page thickness, it’s like newspaper now. I think if I was to actually try using the book during a repair it’d quickly be ruined.

FYI
From MY2008 all UK/Europe/Aus/ Impreza Workshop OEM manuals are HTML based, with limited PDF content (wiring diagrams and such) and comes on a CD/DVD and will only run cleanly in Microsoft Edge "Internet Explorer" mode.
US manuals continued in PDF format up until 2020 maybe beyond

The earlier manuals are probably still as relevant as the Haynes book. I’d need to check again but I don’t remember there being differences highlighted between model years in the Haynes book. It’s nowhere near as comprehensive as other offerings from Haynes.

Don or Rocky, i don;t suppose either of you has a link for a free online manual that covers the Sti hatch, it's mainly for the torque settings. I've searched myself online but i've drew a blank so far, i donlt mind paying for the online Haynes one, if you can get it for free even better.
