Default Impreza STI or Not

Im interested in buying a impreza and found a good deal going but its confusing me, it is registered as a sti and advertised as one but it has some bits that are not making sense to me so hoping someone with more knowledge can shed some light.
Things STI
  • ENGINE
  • CARPETS
  • V5
THINGS NON STI
  • SPOILER
  • SEATS
  • SPEED DISPLAY
i dont know that much about these cars so please correct me if im wrong but i believe as it’s registered as a sti it should have all these things. Ive attached a video

Also any chance in a ruff price that would be reasonable, turbo 2000 2003 subaru impreza sti on 111000miles. Partial service history two keys no problems

WRX all day long.
Walk away if they're trying to sell that as an STi.

It has an STi intercooler but that's about all.

Unless it has had the 5 speed box, Subaru brakes and small spoiler retro-fitted to make it more like a sleeper.

Can’t view the pics, but some spec c’s came with four pots, steel wheels and I think a lower spoiler and more basic interior trim. These were intended for motorsport use so did away with things that would be swapped out anyway.

Best way to check is with the model code/vin number.

edit: looked at pictures now, looks like a wrx.

yes, except the "gravel spec" Spec-C's all had the correct 6speed running gear, large R180 rear diff, STi engine, etc.........
