Hi guys, so i bought my GC8 on sunday, im working through some niggly little bits that annoys me and one is the motorised radio antenna wasnt working and was stuck up, tried to push it down but felt resistance and could hear a motor turning, so i delved into the rear quarter and found the harness was simply unplugged, plugged it back in and presto it works, so i went to put my tools way came to lock the car and could hear the motor still chugging away, even 30 seconds after locking the car and the antenna retracting its still cycling the motor ?

anyone have any ideas if theres a fix or if i have to get a new antenna assembly

Looks like you can open the unit up, so it sounds like a limit switch may have failed or rusted up. Your choice whether to have a go or not. Would be handy to have a multimeter to test out the limit switches once it's opened up.
