Default Indicators staying on.

Hi all. A fault has developed with my indicators where they will randomly all come on when driving (Not flashing, permanently lit).I am thinking it may be the relay as I can hear it clicking sometimes. Can someone please give me some help with how to replace the relay? Car is UK classic MY00.

They are high up, under the dash on the drivers side.

its more than likely the sigma alarm unit at fault.
Had this a few times in the past.

Thanks for the reply’s. Any ideas how I go about getting the sigma issue sorted? Also it has Clifford concept 300 so would it have a sigma as well?

If it's now fitted with a clifford alarm, it's probably not a sigma issue.(unless the sigma was never removed), although it could now be a clifford problem.

First checks would be the relay, as per earlier replies, and the hazard switch connections.

Thanks. Tried to do relay yesterday and took dash off easily but couldn't see what I was looking for. Have heard that unscrewing the fuse box might help as well. Any tips?

There is an image of a flasher unit in the thread (not sure of the model though..)

I have also read that taking out the fuse box helps

Do an advanced search on 'Flashers' (titles only) gives lots of results.
