Question Classic clutch in blob wrx

I've got a ver6 STI 5speed clutch and flywheel...
It's an exedy paddle and fidenza flywheel.

Can this be fitted to a blob eye wrx with its std 5speed?

Will the starter motor on the blob wrx need changing for a classic starter, or will it all work fine?

It will fit. Starter will work, both are pull type clutches

Cool thank you for that...

I know the 6spd have different flywheels and pressure plates with notches unlike the 5spd set up so you can't mix 5 and 6spd clutches and flywheels.

Like wise fitting a 6spd to a classic will require a 6spd starter.

I think I'm right with all that, just wanted to check the 5spd blob wrx starters were the same as the classic starters
