Hi
Im new to the forum as i was recently offered a:
1998 Subaru impreza turbo 2000
Now im not sure where exactly i should of started this thread but can any one help put a value on it for me as im struggling as i wish to sell it on rather than keep it (18 yrs old, no chance on insurance)
So spec wise
Uk spec & uk built - all standard except exhaust & dump valve
136k genuine miles
Mot til october
Has full service history and oil change every 3 months
Any help is much appreciated
I'd say a bit more than that....(not loads more though)as long as has full history and isn't falling apart with rust. You'd struggle to find a good sport for 800-1000 surely?
£800 to £1000 as high milage, green, and uk turbo. The oversized scoop also detracts from it
This man does not like green scoobs

he is true though, green is a real marmite colour and the least favourite for buyers hence the lower value. Typical cost of a UK with similar mileage varies from £1100-£2000 with green making less.
Cheers for the help
He wanted swaps for my classic mini(up for 2k)
So max im going to get for the subaru is around £1200 as theres no chance ill get insurance on it
Along with no engine pics, high milage, chances are its rusting from the inside out......
Avoid avoid avoid....
I actually would go so far s to say I wouldnt buy a classic unless I was specifically looking for one, and I would always buy with a view to needing to carry out major surgery on the arches and sills.... Unless it is properly enthusiast owned (such as Silver Scooby Sports and Joes examples, of which I would buy without hesitation of rust issues) then the chances are it will be rusting without visible signs, and once it is visible you have a real problem
