Default 1999 impreza sport revs taking a long time to drop

Hi guys i have a 1999 impreza sport and when i drive it the revs take an age to drop does anyone have any idea what this could be caused by thanks mikey

Vac hose split/leaking.
Incorrect free play on throttle cable.
Idle speed control valve gummed up/sticking.
Throttle position switch requires adjusting.
