I bought 3 tickets (+ 1 free child ticket) for fast car at santa pod this weekend (Sunday 22nd) - unfortunately I can't make it now due to other commitments so if anyone wants the tickets free of charge just give me a shout, pointless them going to waste if anyone is nearby and fancies a day out.

It can be a bit "chavvy" - but you drive an impreza so you're alright

It's a fast car event, these goons do have dole money to spend you know

To be fair, you get a few dicks there like anywhere else, but i've never seen a bit of trouble at any event, ultimate street car last year was heaving and half of those were families with kids etc.

It was a nightmare, went to see Top Fuel Dragsters, which was good in some respects.

When leaving one of the stewards got assaulted directing the traffic, so they all left, drivers started moving the ribbon fences in the field separating the cars and did what they want, mean't we were stuck in the car park for 5 hours

Didn't get home to early hours, was not impressed at all

Even after contacting them there attitude stank

 

Nothing like giving someone demons before he takes his 11 year old son for a decent day out!

I've been to the pod probably 20 times in past 4 or 5 years and never seen anything remotely like this so certainly a one off in my opinion.

 

Sorry bud but it was a right mess, and when i contacted them about it, they didn't apologise just tried defending themselves excuses after excuses

After 4 hours sitting in the van me and my mate got out and started directing the traffic, i bet if we hadn't we would have been there for alot longer

LOl yea most likely, luckily i installed a dvd player in my mates van bout a month before, ended up watching 2 movies while everyone else was having metal break down

Have they built the new road yet, they where meant to be getting planning permission for new entrance? I'm sure you will have a good time, and hopefully was a one off, also recommend no one stay over night as not heard good things about that.

Again always been fine for me, but yes you get pissed up chavs, like you do in every pub or bar across the country.

Unfortunately they can't be avoided.
