Thanks

From: If you're not braking or accelerating you're wasting time.
quote from ad ' mild engine modifications to increase the power to 367bhp/400lbft (at wheels). '
That's a lot of power if true.Probably way over 400bhp from the engine.
The 2.5 litre engine is prone to failures with that much power(see the many threads on here discussing it) unless it has been modified to withstand the increase.
Possibly selling cheap because the engine is now on the way out.Make sure you get it checked by someone who knows these cars before commiting.

Regardless of the presumed engine issues (not that we know it has any) that car is way too cheap. Like half price cheap. I wouldn't go near it on that basis alone. As the old saying goes, if it looks too good to be true...
At £5k buy it and drive or better still get it trailered to API, spend £3k on having it forged and jobs a good un.
It is extremely cheap though so make sure you go with a car full of burly mates when you go there with the £5k to make sure you don't get turned over.
Or you could just take the Shreksta with you.

thanks a lot for your help, I thought it was too cheap so the engine may be at the end of it's life, but I was thinking that maybe it's worth to take it for £5k and forge it, but tbh I didn't thought about being scammed :/
I'll keep searching for my dream STI
thanks once again

I don't think that's what the lads are getting at... It's not that the engine is fooked.. It's that it's either not real car or it's not for sale.. So you'll turn up and either get mugged or pay a deposit to secure the vehicle..

You will phone up and the seller will say he has had loads of interest and if you want it you need to give a deposit through a bank transfer!!
My brother phoned about a cheap car and the guy was 10 mile from his house, my brother said he would come round now with the cash and buy it, but the guy made loads of excuses for my brother not to turn up but kept insisting to pay a deposit through a bank transfer to secure the car otherwise it will be gone.
To good to be true, no one advertises a car half of what its worth, even if it was £8k thats cheap without sounding like a scam.
