sTI3 heads, how can I check they're real?
As above really, are there any markings I can check for etc please.

Assuming that they are complete the shims will be under bucket for a start.

And I belive the v3 have a single line through the cam and v4 have 2

There is no difference between the V3 and V4 heads.
99% of the time both V3 and V4 have a lines through the cams where the numbers are
However I am sure Bally came accross the odd set a few years back that didnt have the lines through them.
To my knowledge both the V3 and V4 cams have the same profile.

The general consensus was that the cams had 2 lines but I've had 2 sets through my hands that had one line, one set was supposed to be version 3 and the other set was definitely from a V4 Type R......There is plenty of info if you use the search but nothing has ever been set in stone.

As long as they have the same profile it doesn't matter. I measured mine, I'll dig out the pic.
