Immobiliser code???
I have the keypad in the right hand side under steering column. I have a metal plate on a set of keys with a number on it but it doesn't seem to work. I don't know the actual code im guessing its the one on the keys. Have you got to enter a number first before the code???
That number on the key tag is your key number for cutting a replacement or spare it has nothing to do with the alarm.
I take it you cant get the car to start or stop the alarm ??

I have to press the key fob twice to start the car im guessing the 2nd press is to disable immobiliser. My one spare key doesn't work so i can open with the actual key but car wont start because i have to press the fob twice to start it so if i was to loose my main key mu second wouldnt work unless i pressed the immobiliser key in im guessing.
With the ignition switched OFF "arm" then "disarm" the system
within 30 seconds enter the following:
*17856
*92
*ABCD
*ABCD
# (stores the new pin and you should hear a chirp)
Where ABCD represents the newly chosen 4- digit pin code.
The numbers *17856 causes the system to enter programing mode and 92 is the access code/comand which notifies the alarm unit to accept the new pin code

Id replace the battery in your other key and do the following after you have changed the pin to a number familiar to yourself.
Arm then disarm the system, then enter the following.
*17856*91*2# and press each fob button once including the one which was working.

I think I have the same problem my second key fob locks and unlocks my car switches on my ignition but doesn't start the car. I don't use the keypad at all just the one fob that works. do u wait for a certain amount of time between entering the codes ?
