Muslim takeover - Operation Trojan Horse
This is pretty worrying. My son might go to one of those schools and whilst i certainly don't want him to grow up to be a coconut i wouldn't want him wasting his time of political allegiances in following some cleric either. I'm cool with the religious upbringing but not with the 'supposed' jihad bit. The word jihad is overused these days anyway. It is not a term for fighting for Arab beef but a term for genuine struggle. I've read up about Al-Zakawaki, his 'turning' to extremist road is very interesting. A good read for all those who think that people are 'turned' at the mosque. The fact that the Americans murdered his son who had bugger all to do with anything is probably another reason why he justifies his beef.

In a day and age when certain Imams are being transported in Bentleys and puffing on joints in between sermons, Islam is a disjointed and splintered affair. There are so many different groups and factions that it's akin to Gary Glitter's 'Do you wanna be in my gang my gang?'

Shaid, you're a bright chap. I'm not being patronising I hasten to add, but think IF such an agenda was being attempted would it not have been done covertly and silently? What would be the point if it became public knowledge?

But seriously though, does anyone other than the tin foil hat brigade believe that some cleric was standing in assembly going on about how all the kids should wage jihad against west/headteacher/infidels/etc?
Who knows maybe it did happen but the thought that some sort of trojan horse campaign being effective and turning a school full of kids into potential terrorists being effective - put simply, these clerics need employing... their skills could be put to other uses and potentially used to brainwash a generation of indigenous chav to be model citizens and stop their destructive chav lifestyle which frankly benefits nobody and does nothing to further society but hey.. let's not let get facts in the way of a bit of Muzzie bashing

That comment is aimed at muslim extremists, i dont know much about islam but i do know its bull**** like all other religions and causes problems

Seems a bit quiet on here considering the report has now been released, and things are worse than first thought.

However I do believe the greedy divisive capitalist greed could start civil unrest. More so than a few schools (nearly all of whom were grade as very good/good).

I've never been to Birmingham but saw it in the news yesterday reporting about the Trojan horse, Birmingham could be mistaken for India or afghan! Jeez didn't realise it was more foreign than British!
