Isn't that an old story that The Fail has decided to dredge up for a bit of mouth foaming? Even when this stupid policy was first mooted there was a question over it's implementing from ALL sides. However two years later it's a case of 'those Muslims at it again' from the Fail. Hopefully Scoobywont uses a bit more insight and thought in his day job. Still the irony of a copper posting an article on the banning of pork is not lost on me. :-D

Must admit I thought I had heard it before myself. So it seems they can't even be bothered to find new devisive nonsense to print, they now just rehash old stories to keep their readership nicely foaming at the mouth at those nasty Muslims!

I really cannot get my head round why so many fall for the crap they write rather than thinking a little bit for themselves! Well I can, but calling a large perecentage of the population stupid seems to upset some people... the truth hurts I guess!

Anyhoo I have changed the infinity and beyond to something more appropriate for this situation

I quoted two sources to hopefully avoid the "daily fail" sidetracking, seems I must try harder.

Do you want your kid's school to really become Islamic through false allegations, smears and general abuse? Wear them down until they leave? What have we done to this country? This sort of thing must be stamped on immediately

Even if this 'operation' exists and I doubt very much it's as clear cut as it is presented in these articles is the idea that some schools may be run with more Muslims in positions of influence that bad? Surely the school is there to educate kids and if it does a good job of it then does it matter what the religion is of the people who are running it?

Taking it a step further and even if these schools do start to be run under the guise of the Islamic faith I would rather kids get a good education at an Islamic school than a bad one at a Christian school.

As it happens I went to a catholic school and even back then about 10% of the school population were Sikhs or Muslims... they all seemed to manage and didn't feel the need once they left school to start worshipping under the banner of Catholicism. The last time I encountered any of them they were still Sikhs and Muslims... they hadn't been 'converted'.

Maybe if the schools in question were to be run by extremists then we would have a legitimate complaint, but maybe the Mulsims in question just see the schools being run badly and want to impose some of their values to ensure the kids are properly educated. Or maybe it's somwhere in between.

One thing is for sure I am not going to swallow every word the BBC or Daily Mail tell me as gospel or should that be Quran in this case?

Shouldn't you be directing this to your MP or voicing these concerns to someone involved in making these decisions? As for kids becoming Islamic, is that what you really believe? I'd think it would have exactly the opposite effect.
With regard to things being stamped on and this country going to pot. There are quite a few things ahead of banning sausages in schools. Namely the tax dodging corporations, bankers taking the ****, wasting money on wars, foreign aid etc.
Personally I think it's an excuse for you to do a bit of **** stirring, deflecting attention from the real issues facing people.

We all know the DM is only good for wiping away one's dag-nuts, and the BBC only good for trying to see an up skirt shot of Susannah....

There's as many Christian maniacs out there as anyone else, just best to ignore them all.

Makes for a less stressful life...

99% of the worlds population are gullible.
99.9% of the uk's population are gullible, who believe everything and anything the tv or papers say, quite sad really.

The fact people believe and devote their lives to religions when there is absolutely zero historical foundations and facts, it's all symbolic and not literal.
The Christian religion is based entirely on the Bible and the literal existence of a man named Jesus. The worlds biggest and most powerful lie.
Religion is the source of all evil.

You should. I have yet to find a document as accurate, succinct or as neutral as the Daily Mail, not even the OED comes close to its impartial portrayal of the truth.

Check out the "Christ conspiracy" and "The book your church doesn't want you to read".
Both very informal and both on the tinternet
If you need to read about what Kate Middleton wore yesterday then check out the papers and bbc.

That's quite a brave assumption. Who's to say your sources of independent unbiased information aren't in fact deliberate plants by organisations who want you to believe what they say?

It's a no-brainier, but then I don't waste my day with independent research and consequently I have no problem with mentalist theories that the worlds governments are out to get me. Good for you if you have time to polish your tin-foil hat, it makes great entertainment on here!

I wouldn't call it a waste, quite the opposite actually, I enjoy it

We'll crop circles would seem ridiculous because that would mean the existence of ufo's, alien spacecraft.
The moon landings faked to beat the opposition??, maybe they were at the time, some good evidence to support the fact they are fake.
Loch Ness, would seem ridiculous, a prehistoric dinosaur alive and well in Scotland.
The above (all famous) seem far fetched hence the tinfoil hat brigade.
It's the conspiracies that are plausible today that cause the most controversy.

This is pretty worrying. My son might go to one of those schools and whilst i certainly don't want him to grow up to be a coconut i wouldn't want him wasting his time of political allegiances in following some cleric either. I'm cool with the religious upbringing but not with the 'supposed' jihad bit. The word jihad is overused these days anyway. It is not a term for fighting for Arab beef but a term for genuine struggle.

I've read up about Al-Zakawaki, his 'turning' to extremist road is very interesting. A good read for all those who think that people are 'turned' at the mosque. The fact that the Americans murdered his son who had bugger all to do with anything is probably another reason why he justifies his beef.
