The one thing I'm having to get used to is the twin plate clutch which is OE fitment, it can make you look like a right buffoon when driving in stop start traffic.

Yes the clutch is a bit of a pig until you get used to it, and even then it's still a little bit 'severe' for most people.

I can see me with legs like a bodybuilder after a couple of weeks of using it.

Well today as I have been a little bored I decided to order some goodies up to alleviate the boredom, and so far I have on the way:

Samco coolant hose set in red
STi uprated header tank cap
JDM STi gearstick ****
Bosch Aero Twin wiper blades
Replacement STi stickers for the front strut brace and engine bay

All the service items will either be coming from AS Performance or Import Car Parts.

Don't panic Dave I'll keep the original one but I prefer this type as it's better 'in hand' so to speak.

Well it's not that bad but you have to leave a gap like you say Stu.

No interior pics, but once I've got it I'll take some for you, and she's a looker alright.

I wouldn't blame you for feeling protective Dave, everything will be done in keeping the car as it should be.

They can make you look like a learner driver if you aren't careful.

I don't suppose anyone has any of these just lying about on a garage shelf?

They are Subaru part number ST2810055270, and they are no longer available from the dealer.

You've probably already thought of it Ty but would Japan Parts have them?? I'm sure I've seen the same centre caps with Rays on them but not sure about BBS??? Worth a try if you haven't already?

Library pic old bean, those wheel nuts have never been fitted they are still brand new in their sealed packaging.

I'll give them a try Jay, I had a quick look at the weekend but couldn't see them listed.

I think the Rays caps are the same size, in fact the S202 wheels have a Rays version of this cap used in them.

I'm fairly sure I can find a standard BBS cap to fit the wheels but being fussy I'd really like the correct items.

I believe it's an AP Racing twin plate clutch Dean, don't get me wrong it's not that bad or particularly brutal it's just different to an organic standard clutch feel.

I had an AP Racing / STi Group N paddle clutch in my Spec C and that was a right pig to drive in traffic, either off or no with very little in between. It made for some really strange looks from other drivers as well.

Default Some Goodies Have Arrived...

I have been busy sourcing some items for the car, so far I have:

Samco top and bottom radiator hoses in red
Samco coolant hose set in red
STi uprated header tank cap
Bosch Aero wiper blades
Replacement STi stickers for the front strut brace and engine bay
NGK PFR7B spark plugs

Plus on the way from Import Car Parts I have:

Genuine oil filter
Genuine fuel filter
Genuine air filter
Gates Kevlar timing belt with a full set of genuine rollers, guides and belt tensioner
Gates auxillary drive belts
Genuine water pump
Genuine thermostat
Genuine front crankshaft oil seal

Plus on the way from various eBay sellers I have:

Millers 10W50 Nanotech engine oil
Millers 75w90 Nanotech gear oil
Fuchs Titan LSD PA90 oil
STi gear stick ****
Ferodo DS2500 brake pads for the Prodrive Alcon front brakes, they were going for £35.00 plus shipping - I don't need them yet but at that price they were well worth getting

Plus I have made an offer on the correct steering wheel for the car, it's expensive for a used part but unless I get the correct one for the car then I would never be happy with anything else.
