Yeah will do I mean there is nothing wrong with having little meet up in Swindon even with people that are already part of bbs, as surely 5 min trip down the road is easier than 50 miles to Bristol
That makes sense I used to travel from Bristol to Swindon when I was a heavy user of the SIDC. I always wave to other Scoobys in Swindon. Apart from the blue type-r that came out of the parks. Ignorant to say the least lol.
Wrong on so many levels........Blobeye Wagon if you want an estate for that sort of money
Yeah but I think that will get you double mpg than blob wagon. I get about 350miles to a full tank on my bug Prob could stretch to 400 if I drive it sensibly lol

Scooby gives you that grin......I don't get any grin from my Focus diesel lol
Well it be great to see enthusiasts regardless what they come in hahah
I have sent a few messages to my Facebook friends who know either had owned Scoobies or still have scoobies to see if they were available and interested
I've sent message on wagin page but not much response on there, but never know some may turn up. In my books it's gonna be good turn out
2 plus is a good turn out as this is last minute and a Bank Holiday.....need to top this for a second meet - need to think about a regular place / time / day etc.....as I said I have a month's stay in hospital coming up so will miss at least one meet but I am up for every meet that is organised.

Yes I agree, it looks like its going to be a decent turn out
As for regular meets i can have a look at swindon and other places if the White Hart is not good enough.
As for tomorrow i really have no idea where we can have a drive to as i am not very familiar with the local areas around Swindon.
I know there is a white horse thing somewhere near where we gonna be that could be a possible area for a short drive? what everyone thinks? Edmondo you are clearly a veteran of the Swindon meets i bet you know the area well what do you think?
The Sun Inn will be good but not on Bank Holidays or for Lunchtime / Afternoon meets as Coate Water gets really busy.
All the Swindon meets we did were static ones rather than drive outs.........We did one drive out but that ended up as a tour really lol - went bloomin miles and ended up at Chew Valley Lake - about 40 miles away lol....Will have a think where we can go - or perhaps someone else can suggest somewhere we can take a few "arty" pics of the cars lol.
Joined another Forum today and mentioned the meet - have sent a few messages via faecesbook but I think once the piccies go up and we keep this thread alive we might start to garner a bit more interest.
