After an absence of 2 years or more Jacqui and I are resurrecting the Swindon meets.

First one will be on Friday March 7th - 19.30hrs at the Sun Inn by Coate Water.

 

Shame its so close to the bbs meet or we could of done a joint one as our next meet is in Chippenham

 

Only just registered with Scoobynet. Im a BBSCOOBYS member but wondered how your meet went?

Yeah ive noticed, neither of those were me though, ive seen couple hawks and blob wagon the other day and a silver classic wagon dont know if those people are on here tho

Bbscoobys will be holding a rolling road day at powerstation this Saturday if anyone fancied coming up to spectate and chat subaru stuff

 

Hey guys Im in Swindon. Have a blue blob with black WR1 wheels, am trying to visit this site more now as am trying to acumilate the parts i need to do a first remap.

Im a BBSCOOBY member too and have mostly been on there so have missed these Swindon spotted posts. Will try to put some on when i see you.

 

I think i saw ur scoob before, have your got mudflaps as well? Might give bbs scoobs a go, although we already have 3 people near or in swindon now just need to track down the rest

Yeah blue mudflaps, you wont regret joining BBSOOBYS, theyre a really friendly bunch and hold meets all through the year. Mainly Bristol (very near M4 junct) Bath, Chippenham etc....do it. Im off to Powerstation with them for a rolling road day this Saturday, which is only Tewkesbury.

 

Theres a few of us from Swindon who meet up in the BBSCOOBYS club, would be great to have you as a member.......

Yeah no worries, i will post the next meet date and location when its published on the site. I may not be going to this though as we are all going to Performance Car Action Day at Coombe on a club stand in April too. Getting mine out on the track.

Swindon meets were quite popular when Jacqui and I did them up to a few years ago.....used to have anywhere between 6 and up to 35 - 40 cars......Tried to resurrect last year however seems to be no interest in the area anymore........If anyone does organise one then let us know......if not BBS are a great crowd and well worth going to them.

 

If there enough of us in swindon then we cloulld always have a little meet somewhere in the pub round swindon? Or even go and join bbs but go down to their meets as a group ?

Alternativelly we could all meet in swindon for next BBS meet and travel down there alltogether, i will get onto BBS forum and have a look if they are meetin then

Mine made 360 , bit low if I'm honest but everyone's seem to be a little bit lower than normal

Really good day out though as always , our mob is always a good laugh to be out with as there a good bunch of car nuts
