Most of my friends know that I will have a go at stuff on the car even though I haven't got a fecking clue. So when it inadvertently goes wrong, then I call them to come round and fix my 'bodge' hence the title

well ask a few others first and then if it is really badly 'bodged' then yes Rich is next on the list. It helps that he works about 5 mins down the road from my house and lives another 5 mins in the other direction

he wont reply, any genuine seller would list all mods and rr printouts etc.

ebay impreza bhp is real bhp X2 then add in made up items like rally gearbox, wrc mega bottom end and super chuffer blow of valve and get your mates to bid and relist 12 times.

 

why are you even thinking about it?
theres no way its 400bhp its a 95 classic wrx it would take Fair amount of ££££ on that year to make that figure,
its got horrid bumper and prob hads 100 people fiddle with it,
this is prob a better buy

Trust me on a early wrx buy as stock as poss, unless a decent one of here etc

Yeah but e raced is m8 innit and is m8 woz in a nova dat ad 200 brak and e got to da litez in arf da tym.

 

I got as far as clicking on a pic with a wheel, saw the pis poor brakes and the description that said `mint condition for its age` with rot on the arch....Its either in mint condition or it isnt there is no age related to it, knobber!

Some one should buy it and not pay a penny until the 400bhp is confirmed. Would be hilarious to find it's only 220bhp.

Well I reminded the seller he hadn't replied to my previous questions and pointed out it was strange to see it up for sale again as it actually sold on ebay last time around!

He replied:

the last time the car was advertised we had a fault with ebay which for some reason didnt accept the reserve price that i typed in so the car went into auction with no resreve and when it sold it didnt meet the erserve price that i thought was on it so me and the buyer spoke and contacted ebay and the matter has been sorted. now as for the car the chap i bought it off told me it was 400bhp and there was a dino among all the paper work. after looking through every bit of paper work i have iv found out a few things the cae is 320bhp but unfortunatly no dino report but i do have a list of all the mods this car has had.i have still got to change the advertisement and add the list of mods iv found to it but working for a formula 1 team doesnt leave me alot of spare time a soon as i get chance these changes will be made.

Yeah I knew it was suspicious from the add, so he has no dyno but it's 320 bhp ?
Wouldn't trust him at all !
