Half the insurance, half the tax and more mpg. A lot cheaper.
Oh and OP, even though it turns out yours is a WRX rather than an STi I am still interested.
'54 Ibiza Cupra on 50k miles. Normally these are worth £3750ish but as it's yellow (not everyones cup of tea) and has some paint issues (normal fading and a couple of bits of laquer missing) I'd be looking at a possible swap?
Last Impreza:
Cupra:
Has some paint issues, kerbing on front alloys hence the price. Very rare these Cupras so hard to price but here's a dealer example:

Even the mk3s hold their value:

It has some fading, and a couple of small patches of laquer peeling.
It's a good car, only done 50k. Recent service with new rear disks & pads.
Lots of toys (ESP/ABS/Digital climate etc.), ridiculous front brakes as standard (APs with Seat branding).
Fading e.g. (difficult to see but the flap is a different colour to the rear panel):
Laquer:
Kerbing on one front alloy:
It's not that bad tbh, but always like to be honest, it actually shines up pretty good but does have those issues above.
Did the following just after I had it last year:
regassed air-con
cleaned seats (Astonish upholstery cleaner - worked pretty well)
new head unit (wanted bluetooth streaming & phone)
new mats
remap
Then recently serviced it as I mentioned above.
Every time I go from an Impreza to something else, I want another Impreza

No not on Ibiza Cupras, not sure about the Leon Cupra R though? They are the same calipers as V6 Clios. If you look at my last pic showing the kerbing, the standard alloys come out quite a bit to accommodate them so it's tricky getting aftermarket ones that fit.

So its a must for any car i have.
If this yellow beast had mint paint work then i would of done a deal.
What do they go like ? Tuneable ? Strong internals ?

Ebay will charge you the insertion fees and a 10% final value fee, basically they'll take another 10% of what it ends up selling for. There is ways round this by cancelling the transaction after youve sold the car though

The best bet is to advertise it via a classified advert. £15 upfront and no other fees to pay. But, if the op did auction it then it'll be £10 insertion fee and 1% final value fee so if it makes £3000 then total fee will be £40.

What a pristine looking classic you have there fella, if I can find one even close to the condition of yours in V3-V6 STi form; I will count myself a lucky guy!
Best of luck with the sale! (make sure it goes to a good home )

When i was reasearching v1's to get an idea of price i really found it hard to find a price to sell it at all because there are no clean ones out there.
Where did they all go and why cant people look after them coz some of them are proper scabby lookin cars. Such a shame. Some people have no pride in there cars.

Where are you getting your information regarding fees ???

that said they may have changed the amount they charge now, as the last car i sold on there was over a year ago.
