same here...gave up for 2 years, started again then gave up again after 6 months of smoking.
now smoke free but the craving never leaves so you have to use willpower.

 

I think it's different for different people, friend of mine is 2 years into giving up and he said he's doesn't crave it at all .. he misses the social side though.

I've never smoked so it's an odd thing for me to understand too.
