OK cheers guys, so PPP performance is achievable without needing a new exhaust/fuel pump etc? Paddy how does the car sound with the stock exhaust? I'm assuming the PPP was purely an engine upgrade and didn't include any other changes (suspension etc) over the Prodrive Style?

The "Prodrive Style" is a JDM car which has a roof vent.

I took a JDM bug in p/x and added the complete blob conversion (sorry to all bug owners) as I understand it the underpinnings on the V7 STI are good for power gains and with the blob conversion (wings, bumpers front and rear, spoiler, headlamps. Side skirts etc etc resulted in a nice package.

Considering upgrading further as it's a great base car and nippy as is

Having had 5 classics and a hawk spec D this is a good well rounded package.

Nope that's a Prodrive JDM, the Prodrive style was a UK car with cosmetic changes!

In the past on here the JDM has always been referred to as JDM Prodrive by Tony Burns and the likes, that is where I remember the info from!

Its crazy the amount of different models/special editions Subaru have actually produced in this country and Japan, it gets even worse if you venture to different parts of the globe...

This is what my log book also quotes. "Prodrive style"
But jay is Also correct the jdm prodrive bug has a roof vent and all other usual jdm refinements.

328i my car is modified, but with my gt40 turbo and ninja 2 full exhaust it sounds very nice. I do sometime put on the prodrive back box and it still sounds nice but allot quieter.

The OPs prospective purchase looks good, but as always with Bugs, you must look very hard for rust before you even start worrying about how much power it makes. I'll add my usual link:

Look hard!

Osimabu thanks for posting your link, very very useful!! I have a classic so rust on scoobys is not new to me, but I hadn't heard any horror stories relating to Newages so assumed rust wasn't a major issue, guess I wrong there!! If I view this car i'll make sure I have a very good look!
