There really is no end to 'journalists'' self serving actions, in their pursuit for the ultimate scoop. They are bereft of any empathy, compassion and morals.... Apart from the hollow ones, when it suits their story's agenda.

Spitting Image truly got it spot on as depicting them as just a bunch of rooting pigs.

Agreed. Even when Sabine was trying to give a press statement, there was swearing, shouting and abusive comments hurled around just so some of the reporters could get to the front of the pack. She had to stop 3 times and ask for calm to allow herself to be heard by those who actually wanted to listen.

And I cannot believe that some evil little ****e dressed as a priest wormed his way into Schumachers room. You know, the room in which they are trying to save his life in. Totally shameful and he is lucky that his identity has not been released to the public.

That's the trouble though Chris, these people are always 'protected' and that is why they think they can do things like this. Personally whoever it is I hope karma visits upon them and one day they end up in the same position as Schuamcher is now!

Yeah Gear Head, my post was citing that 'priest journalist' (as well as the press in general).

God, for a minute I thought that Telboy was back! Then I checked that it was you who posted that, Chip.

You must miss him, Chip, me friend. Please wish for him to be here again in this new year, and may your wish come true. I'll pray for you.

On the topic, wishing speedy recovery to Scheuey.

I just hope that some of the speculation within the last 24-48hrs is wrong, according to some experts they are indicating that he may never come out of the coma or if he does their is a strong possibility that he could be left in a vegetative state.

Apparently they have warned his family that this is a distinct possibility.

Keep fighting Schumi.

One or two reports have mentioned "He may never be the same Schumi we knew"
But that can be said about most head injuries, never mind something as serious as this,
The truth is until they bring him round no one knows what if any damage has been done,
so it is all ********* really.

Ignore the press, they are morons.

Until you hear directly from Corinna or the doctors you can assume the situation is the same as there will be no reliable information given by anyone else.

Indeed. To quote Sniff Petrol

‘During the critical 24 hours immediately after Schumacher’s accident the news was in a state of high interest and able to draw on new facts to sustain itself,’ noted doctor in charge of news, Dr Ian Chargeofnews. ‘But since then I’m sorry to report we have seen a significant slump into what is medically known as the idioticus speculationus or ‘nothing to report’ state. During this phase the mouth of a television news reporter may be moving and noises may be coming out but nothing of any use or interest is emerging.’

‘This is a worrying but stable phase,’ Dr Chargeofnews noted. ‘However, it can very quickly descend into something more dangerously crass known medically as The Daily Mail which can bring extremely nasty complications such as intrusive photographs of Michael Schumacher’s family leaving the hospital and badly researched articles about why skiing is dangerous.’

Meanwhile, the team treating Michael Schumacher has confirmed that the seven times world champion is ‘in a good place’, chiefly because he doesn’t have to read or listen to all the idiotic news coverage about him.
There's also some sad news to report. http://sniffpetrol.com/2014/01/21/f1-mourns-sad-news/

Yep, I really wish the press would f**k off publishing made up **** about it, then the people who feel the need to respond to it (as in the link above) would ignore them and above all the public would stop reading the crap they all write.

Schumacher's manager has quite clearly stated that until you hear from the doctors treating him then there is nothing to say!

I hope he pulls through or they pull the plug IF he ends up completely shot up top tbh. No point keeping anyone going if there isn't anything left of their persona tbh.
