Thumbs up Excellent Run Out !

Hey guys ,
Would like to say thanks for an excellent day . Everything was just right .
Had a awesome run driving my dads scoob (andyleonard55) , giving it the beans there and back , cars pulling and running sweet as a nut.
was really nice to put some names to faces , Cracking bunch came down with us .
The Rally boys were on form , a bit slippy to start off and a few nasty offs but in all fairness flat out at the end of it . really loved the way it was run to be honest very up close and personal and off course lovely seeing some scoobies at full chat !

If there is anything like this in the future im in , and with me picking up a scooby in a few days/ weeks mine will be making the run out , anyone up for Epynt ?.

thanks to Dave his organisation with this run out .

Now i have sorted my logging on problems ill be speaking to you all soon.

Chris

P.s got loads of video footage will youtube it a.s.a.p.

P.p.s Add me up on facebook guys https://www.facebook.com/chris.leonard.12914

Not a good day for me in the Clio , I knew I should have taken my new car !
Had 2 wheels bearings collapse on the same side so must have a bent stub axle , ran out of spares so couldn't go out for the last stage , dropped loads of time on the first stage as well with a misfire , found water in the plug hole that wasn't cleaned out when it was jetwashed .

Rogers car doesn't have a touring car engine fitted , its a 3.0ltr 8 valve rally engine that is big in Sweden , don't know why but he was way off the pace , perhaps he hasn't noticed there is loads of room on the throttle pedal between fully closed and fully open lol. I was giving him a ribbing on facebook yesterday about catching him

Here is some incar showing Rogers car towards the end of the stage , you can hear the wheel bearings making quite a bit of noise and getting worse the further we go into the stage , which makes the car hard to handle as it wants to do its own thing on the back end

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qUn9u...ature=youtu.be

I'll be out in Brean next on the 25th Jan giving my new WRC scooby a test , looking forward to that

Cheers for the thanks but to be honest guys the big up should be to each of you because being good guys you made things easy All on time, everyone had fuel etc etc. Even Bry remembered his wallet

The weather, well that did take some organising lol
With a 6:00 start & -3 degrees (earlier for Graham!) the usually cracking B-roads from Chepstow to Raglan was a subdued run for sure lol.

I'm glad ya all enjoyed it and it made a change.... A few photos below as a reminder.

As Master Godspeed mentions "I'll be out in Brean next on the 25th Jan giving my new WRC scooby a test , looking forward to that".

Brean is a few miles down from Weston Super Mare????????
65 miles from Cardiff to Brean, and run doesnt have to be motorway (besides the Bridge).

details at http://www.crswrallies.co.uk/main.html

Or there is the Wyedean on 15th Feb, great rally with some cracking entries but spread all over the place rather than one central location http://www.wyedeanrally.com/

I think for a get together Brean would be a better bet, then a fish & chip supper at Weston on the Pier I recon

Anyone up?
