Considering the opportunity, I agree
Looks like the springs will pretty much be the same as the original P1's as changing the design is just not on.
I've been talking it over with Arnie (been a fantastic help, we're lucky to have him on these boards) He's laid out the massive work of spring design and really, Prodrive have done all the hard work already. They tested over 200 different designs before going ahead
Here's a little comparison review I made on 'P1' dampers & springs. They really are a superb performance spring for UK roads
So, come on... names' down. I'm having a set so mine's down on the new list

Incidentally, I believe Prodrive tested 20 springs, not 200.
"Our target was to achieve exhilarating yet safe characteristics on the typical sweeping A roads and pitchy B roads of the UK," said Project Manager - Engineering, David Stevens. He added: "We wanted the driver to feel confident and secure at any speed. We researched the wide variation of spring, damper and anti-roll bar combination that are available for the Impreza Turbo family. For example, the grey import WRX STi is too hard at the front and soft at the back for our roads and suffers front-end bounce which holds back the engines true potential. We experimented with 22 different spring and damper combinations which we whittled down to eight variations, measuring the effect of every single change. Despite the theoretically harsher low-aspect ratio of the 205/45 tyres, the low-speed ride is superior to the normal UK-spec Turbo, while body control is far better at high speed on an undulating road."

For the purpose of the GB, I don't think the figures are all that important.
We know how they perform, how they make the car look & how they compare to other springs out there.
As the above Chris Rees quote says, Prodrive developed them, putting what it would seem more development into the set-up than almost all other Prodrive springs, including the further body styles

The Red's along with many other alternatives are now comfimed at the premises of the manufactutrer/tester. I'll get him to leave the red's till last as there's no hurry in finding out

Bad news... and good news
Somewhat disappointingly, numbers of sets wanted hasn't materialised to make it worthwhile for Eibach to go ahead
However Scott (he'll be along soon) has been beavering away on alternative solution - a manufacturer who is willing to produce small numbers of spring sets...

Ok, following on from the above.
Due to my investigation to find the best match spring for the WR Bilsteins (due to the WR Blue spring long being unavailable) we are talking with a UK spring manufacturer and supplier that are willing to create springs (rated as 206lbs/in Front, 189lbs/in Rear).
The spring rates across the full compression range of a number of Subaru Impreza Classic springs (including the P1 Red) are now known and therefore can be replicated.
We are in the final stages of agreeing requirements and prices.
If you are interested in continuing with a purchase please add/delete your name from the below and also include your strut type and height requirements (you may have the ability to request different rates/spec's if you are not running P1 or WR Struts).
If it is arranged as a group buy the prices may come in a touch cheaper per set.
At present the non-group buy price conveyed in communication with the supplier is less then the original Eibach group buy price.

8. Rob669
9. P1_Bagz
10. rusty&dusty
11. KRob
12. SilverSurfer (Lowered Version for WR Bilsteins)
I would add that I am in no way connected to this supplier, they are just a company that I found during my investigation and whom have been very helpful testing the numerous springs provided.
The method of purchasing is yet to be defined.

I'll just order a set later on then as I'm in no immediate need. If you end up missing one to do a group buy, just let me know and I'll jump back in, but for now I'm out.

Car is a 95 Wrx with 6 speed box, 2.5l 07 sti, about 450/450
I am haveing Kyb AGX adjustible on my car, dont want springs to lower to much, how much I dont know but about an inch..
How stiff, mostly useing the car on the Nurburgring, so as close to OE P1 as possible.
Do any of U have a bet on spring rates?

We are investigating a lowered version of a tarmac spring 5.1/4.9kg/mm - but really not suitable for agx's - would be fine with koni inserts.
We are investigating something to work with agx's, whilst being suitable for track/road use.
Should have some news in 3/4 weeks.

A P1 style standard height spring are simple to re-create, in comparison.
So, the initial spring set, is a test piece for a supplier

When you say prodrive spec? There's about 4 versions. Plus the sti pink versions your looking at, plus some jdm specific versions.
Scott.T uses the pink sti lowered springs your considering.
Have a look, and post here:

Update:
Prototype 2, of the lowered spring, expected this week.
Just to reiterate; the lowered-type spring has been chosen for the initial sample, because of the additional specifications chosen for that spring - ground, closed top for extra stability, designing out the need for coil wrap, as used on the coil-on-coil structure of the rear P1 spring.
If the lowered spring sample, can be manufactured to a quality and specification, then the relatively simple, P1-type heights and rates, are to follow.

The originally selected manufacturer, can't produce the required spec.
As you may be aware, the stock P1 springs have, roughly, a 15mm diameter front wire, and a 13mm rear.
Prototype 3 has now been ordered from a manufacturer, who stocks (rather than needs to buy in 2-3 tonnes) silicon chrome wire of 13mm and above diameters. Heat treats, twice, to the correct rockwell hardness and shot peens/powder coats on site. Also compresses to coil bind, during manufacture, to minimise settling to maximum of 1% of spring free length; in our case, 2-3mm.
Delivery for testing in 10 days.

Prototype 3 has arrived.
This manufacturer has carried out the requested design changes. Pre-fitted measurements, look promising.
Compared to a new set of standard P1 springs, I'd hope to see a 10mm front drop and a 5mm rear drop; with a subsequent settling of a further 2-3mm.
Be interesting to see if the reduced height, but increased road/track rates, of prototype 3, mean less (or no) contact with Scott's 225/35x18's, on un-rolled arches.
Any subsequently manufactured standard or lowered springs, relating to this group buy, will have reduced spring rates, compared to prototype 3. But the ride heights, of this prototype, are key to all future lowered versions.
