Prodrive P1 Lowering Springs - Rare Purchase opportunity.
#661
Hi 2pot, I am interested in some P11L or WR15R/T if available. Just need to check is the P11L the only option at this stage in this latest order as I understand?
I am using Koni yellow inserts all around, what setting did you recommend/test again please?
How much would the cost be of the springs, the bump stops and shipping to postcode 3356 in Victoria, Australia?
A completely separate and unrelated question but I would like your opinion/expertise on please if you have any time to spare.
I am using the larger caster front control arms from the 2005 STI inside a GR front subframe (and GRB spec C 13:1 steering rack), and GD rear subframe along with 6 speed/R180 conversion.
Up front I am using the Whiteline Com C strut tops with max caster setting as well as roll centre and bump steer correction kit.
In the rear I am using stock rear lateral links to be able to fit my Enkei RPF1 17x8" +45ET with Bridgestone RE003 225/45R17 tyres.
The question finally is, with the above information do you have any opinion or experience with these control arms, they do extend the width considerably up front, would you leave them or too messy for SAI/roll centre? would you add track in the rear if leaving the longer front control arms or any other changes?
Unfortunately car is off the road currently, with a friend we are designing and making a front EFR7163 twin scroll turbo manifold and dry sump system so it actually fits, so don't have current alignment data to assist with.
Appreciate your time.
Many thanks, and great achievement, cheers!

P11L springs are a compliant spring, for undulating/uneven roads. I think you'll have issues with rubbing, with those wheel/tyre/et measurements. Unless you're doing serious arch modifications? Although, you can purchase spacers to clip-on to the damper rods, to reduce travel.
I have seen 225/45 17 with 7.5 x 17 work, but with ET53 offset.
Set Koni's to the softest setting you are happy with.
Stiffer WR15R/T springs, for smoother roads, would be a better bet. But, currently there are only 4 people would would like a set - so I haven't ordered more, at this point.
P11L springs would be £115 delivered to your post code. There is a cheaper £95 service, but the provider is not the best = previous delays and disappearances
2005 STi front control arms are 15mm wider, per side, than GC arms. I don't know enough to comment on your other questions.

P11L’s
Hello,
interested in a set of p11L’s shipped to PA, USA. I have sent a PM if that will be easier. I plan to pair with KYB AGX.
thank you
