Just need confirming about new age TMIC

Oh don't worry I have experience of fitting an sti tmic on a 95wrx as well. The amount of hammering needed up near the bulkhead was painful to say the least.
In the end with some big hammers and trimming of the throttle body on the actual intercooler we got there and it was fine. She now has a FMIC so all good.
On my old classic (MY00 again so phase 2) I changed the standard TMIC for a classic V5 Sti version and fitted perfectly as obviously they are a straight swap but on discovering that the difference in volume is hardly anything I see that it was not a huge gain.
WRX TMIC is on its way
so will be doing this later. Maybe a xmas project
