Something certainly not right, I would be interested in knowing what size the deposit was, and not to be nosey, but if it was say £500+ then to me the potential buyer should be a little more miffed and frustrated about the alleged "issues" with the car than you are on the previous "LMFAO" & "ROFL" post. However this has nothing to do with us

If I was looking at a car that was seriously not as described which meant that I was ultimately out of pocket, then I would be asking for my deposit back at the very least. However you appear to just not really care which puzzles me.

I am trying my best to reserve judgement (which is very much not like me), but I think a new forsale thread is required OP with new pics (ask the mods to delete this), and although I am not suggesting the advert isn't hiding any secrets, or twisting the truth about the car, I think its fair to be honest as you possible can.

F11 SYS please refrain from posting any further on here or on a new thread if the OP decides, as you have made it apparent that you are not bothered (done and dusted as you say) about this anymore.

Rob (being diplomatic for a change)

Allways to sides to a story. Although I would like to see pics of down the sides of the car, not in the angle that has been taken.

Why no pic under the spare wheel?

After a few moments of confusion as to what actually happened we had noticed a police vehicle had pulled into the other side of the petrol station.
So he legged it when the rozzers pulled up? LMAO. I don't know what to believe on this thread.

You posted your original post for a reaction, you got a reaction and now you don't like it? How strange that the op defends your original criticism, yet your the one who seems to now need to repeatedly defend yourself. Like I said I was trying to reserve judgement, but your unauthodox responses are a little unusual for someone whom is out of pocket, and clearly frustrated by the events (your first post), yet now you just seem to be all argumentative with your text speak replies and "grow up" comment.

Ah well it is what it is, this thread is ruined, I wish both parties all the best!

Rob

Davey is well known around Northern Ireland be it with scoobys or drift cars, I have seen this car around and it is very presentable along with many other of his cars people could only dream about owning, he knows his stuff, and the car IS as he described, it's people like you who annoy the life outa me by bad mouthing a decent car and destroying any chance of a sale on here.

I felt sorry for F11 SYS originally. The more he replies though the less I believe him. No need to have decended into the abusive manner of posting that he has.

Yep, clearly showing signs of a liar to be honest - I can't quite make my mind up, but F11SYS is certainly making me sway towards him being a con artist.

Also, why only give yourself half hour to inspect and test drive 2 cars?

I can get other members to vouch for me and say the sun shines out my **** lol
Fact of the matter is I went to buy, it wasnt as described and yellowevo was an arsehole.
I now have a way better car so it doesnt bother me. The 2 days of cleaning/sorting the car and then posting the pics whilst keeping an eye on the thread is what a genuine honest guy does right ?? Lol I arrest my case. Whilst your on about what normal people do wouldnt he have atleast posted that I was a timewaster or something? Or atleast taken deposit taken off the add.
Anyway thread closed for me

My sentiments exactly Rob. I think the buyer crapped himself at the thought of having to explain the origin of the outstanding balance on his person. Then decided to get a preemptive strike in in the form of his earlier post. Just my opinion.

It was 9.35 when I left yellowevo. I had a call a couple of minutes prior from stena line asking if I was still boarding the ferry. I said im a couple of minutes away so we ran to the ferry as we were late.
What relevance running has to do with this I do not know but there you go.

Thread had probably run it's course as both parties have put forward their tale of woe. A new for sale thread with detailed high resolution photographs would seem the only way forward. No further good for either party can come from dragging this on.

I do know that the seller saw the post early yesterday and rather than a gut reaction reply decided to take time from work and offer photo's of the described areas. Although iphone quality they do address the issues raised.
Seller is unhappy
Buyer is unhappy
Scoobynet is entertained for a day.

It was nice of Stenna to ring you though! Jesus wept!

Since when does a stenaline personally call people to tell them they're running late?
