Thought the photo looked a bit dodgy, this looks suspiciously photoshopped:

Having heard the other side of the story it would be prudent not to jump to conclusions. Not my place to get involved so I wont comment further. Once resolved through paypal I'm sure yellowevo will state his case in "trial by scoobynet".

Just keeping the bandwagon under control. It seems the first to shout is always correct and their story automatically becomes gospel. Yellowevo is well capable of defending his own corner and will ,I'm sure, be along with the other side of this most peculiar tale presently.

Im not posting to get into any argument, I have only posted about it to let other members know.
It was a risk for me going there which I took but turned out to be a bad move. If the car was good I would be a proud owner of a bugeye. I didnt go with peanuts, I went with 9.5k to purchase the cars.
Bottom line is going that far to buy a car is always a risk, some you win some you lose.
I went belfast 2 years ago and baught myself a right mint evo 5. Thinking this trip would be the same and id come back home with a minter, how very wrong I was.
Im just very glad me and my mate got home safe and sound. Yes it was a big waste of time and money but you live and learn. You cant win them all.
Ive ended up buying a hawkeye jdm sti now for more money and im very happy with it. So as far as im concerned the experience with yellowevo is done and dusted.

Oh dear, such a low mileage car and turns out that bad? For the price do you think you was being over picky as at that price for a minter should be more IMO.
I'll bet them photos were probably taken a while ago too and saved as favourites?

Providing the engines ok and nothing a miss I'll offer £4k and I'll sort the rest

Hi Irfan ,
I really cannot believe what I am reading here but I will take time to answer this to the best of my ability .
We discussed in great detail everything about the bugeye and then we made a deal after you said that you were definitely buying it . In order to seal the deal you gave me a deposit for the car and were to pay the balance on receiving the vehicle .I then informed you I had a another vehicle that I was considering selling to which you informed me that you were always after one of these .Again we discussed the vehicle in great depth and you decided that you definately wanted that as well .We came to an arrangement for a total price for my 2 cars and the date was set to meet.
Saturday morning arrived we loaded 1 car on a trailer and drove the other . The roads were wet and greasey so we were running later than we initially thought but arrived at 9.00 at the docks in Belfast 15mins later than we had arranged to meet but which still left you 30mins to inspect and drive both cars before you were to catch the boat. After driving and inspecting both cars your friend Shakeel (that has 4 r33 skylines and 2 R35 skylines) then asked to see the paperwork for both vehicles and as I got the books out for inspection both of you ran off toward the boat without explanation.
After a few moments of confusion as to what actually happened we had noticed a police vehicle had pulled into the other side of the petrol station.
Make of it what you guys like but I got a horrible feeling of a lucky escape and we loaded up the cars and made for home.

As both of you are car dealers you should know exactly how deposits work .
The car is not in average condition , it is in excellent condition bearing in mind this vehicle is almost 13 years old. It may have had paintwork at some point in its life but it is to a high standard and not as you make it out to be .
The speedo facia was replaced to meet N.I mot standards which state all speedos need to be dual marked. The original face is included with the cars history.
As for bad compression I can live test the car for any buyer to see . It runs perfectly and drives really well without and knocking ,sqeaking etc and the clutch operates as it should without fault.
It definitely isn't slow and goes as an Sti should as I have had many of these at various stages of tune.
As for "dirty" the exterior of the car was grubby due to the wet roads but both cars were valeted on Thursday so your claims are again inaccurate.
I have taken pics of the supposed "damaged and rusty" areas to show the vehicles true condition and there can be further detailed pics taken for any serious buyer.
I feel aggrieved that you needed to slate my car in this way damaging my chances of a sale just because I didn't fall for your Del Boy tactics at the docks

I may note that this car was at a Scoobyireland car meet very recently where around 20 club members seen the car and its condition.
I have explained this accurately and honestly and will not be commenting any further on this or be dragged into a slanging match .

I'm afraid to say, I'm with yellowevo on this although looks a bit yellow near petrol cap or is it just the light? Needs a good polish/buff and be good as new IMO.
I really can't see the faults that the 'wanted by police boy' described.

The fuel cap does look a little more 'yellowey' compared to the rest of the car however there definitely is NO rust under the rear screen as mentioned....

Raf
p.s. so is this back up for sale?? If so whats the price :-)

If the repairs were made and photographed within 23 hours from the condemned post (with details of rust) there wasnt much wrong with it.
I wouldn't expect perfection at that age and price but its much much better than your description.
Why did you guys run away?
