It's what happens at 2am round here quite often, people go mad and take out their frustrations on a keyboard. Sometimes it can happen on the same thread several nights in a row!

Yes, it's a MAD world in all senses of the word.
Oh - and one man's comprehensive explanation is another's inability to concentrate for long enough.
Tbf I've always had that reputation, but I prefer to cover all bases in one go.
I haven't read the rest of tonight's contributions yet but can you see how divisive it is, the two camps forming?
You've made a contribution that I find positive, even though it's not complimentary to me. But then it's not insulting or abusive either - imo, so absolutely no offence taken.
Points can be put over, and people can reflect on how better to interact with others, without any nastiness.
So why do some immediately imply (or even say) 'what a ******* fcukwit, doing that to their Scooby', or 'what the **** did you buy one like that for?' when someone absolutely jumping with delight at owing one wants to show their absolute pride and joy on a forum full of scooby lovers, as they think?
Mine's stonechipped at the moment.
It might end up with car park dings (aaagggggggghhhhhhhh !!!!!!!!! the thought).
I might go mad and decide to sticker it up.
And those who hurl abuse at me having 'fcuked up a good car' or similar words - how would they feel if they - as they say 'have their a$$ handed to them' by it?
As Gary and others have said (intimated), avoid advice about the mechanics and that is silly.
But cosmetics (stickers, paint etc) don't affect performance, so for what
reason do people harp on, and insult and abuse those who have them on their car ?

Nothing directly, I just can't abide nosey Parker's. Had one yesterday on the swap shop. I'd sold a tow hook from a car I'd broken up. The guy paid said thanks and was over the moon as he'd gotten it cheaper than advertised !!
Anyhow couple hours later, a nosey Parker pops up and says to the buyer " hey man, you know that tow hook is a fake !! " bearing in mind, I'd removed this from a breaker. The tow hook says benen ind, so advertised as such. The guy was just out to make somebody look like a mug !!
The main thing that's annoying me is the consistent posting of drivel and google copy n pasting of law and consumer acts Ect. As a result giving incorrect info. Searching company house was the latest stalking scooby projects after a bankruptcy. When it's got nothing to with him !! Going out his way to cause trouble !! Out of order !! IMHO. Being a Subaru specialist garage myself, knowing the ins an outs of business, and how hard it is in this climate to keep the doors open, I have overheads of £3500 per week before we even break even.

Oh - and it IS something to do with me.

Since you've stated that you have a garage to run and therefore it isn't to be expected that you'll be online until the end of business hours I'll give you until midnight today (29th Nov 2013) to make the required response(s).

Let's clear up a few things,
1, I ain't ever and don't intend on being bankrupt.
2, I'm nothing to do with scooby projects.
3, never ripped anyone off !!
4, hopefully never bored the bollock$ of other members !

Like i posted in a earlier comment, you haven't directly affected me. I just can't abide the long winded posts, containing incorrect information and the fact u get involved in people's business when it clearly doesn't concern you !! This isn't just me either, I've spoke to quite a number of members who's back your also getting up. And a small number of moderators agree with me !
