building up the speed as I get the miles on the car.it is quick from a standing start and when using the Torque on the motorway.

very pleased with the car and it is everything that we hoped it would be. my only niggle go is that it is a bit awkward to fit the child seat in the back....hard to put the seatbelt in the buckle due to its design.

you will love your car I test drove it and it was a great drive. economy should be more than acceptable ball given the performance you have.

It's a bu99er getting a child seat in ours too - awkward shaped seat!
For some reason the M135i (not the rest of the range) has a sort of bench rear seat. We got two kids and an adult (only just) in the back - no way you can do that in the 335ds shaped (but comfier for adults!) back seats. A case of a weird feature suiting us.

I bet yours leaps off the line - assume it's 8 speed auto? SO much better than my 6 speeder in ours!

Yes, they are all 8 speed auto. It's very quick off the line. Similar to the wrx I had but more consistent as it just does it every time. The pull in gear is a league apart from the old scooby and getting into lane and up to speed on the motorway is very easy.

I looked at possibly changing for an S4 but performance is similar and mpg miles worse. I also looked at an M3 or M5 as the lease costs are very cheap but whilst there is no doubt the performance is great, it's not worlds apart and the lack of 4wd ruled them out.

I would have had the M135i but again 4wd and the fact it's our main car ruled it out as it's just a little too small....I may get one next year when I change my company car.

The odd thing with child seat is that it fits fine via isofix....just the latch for the seatbelt pushes down on the passenger side and is covered a little by the seat (which is a recommended one). It works better on the drivers side as it doesn't push down so much but you are the loading from the road side when parked.

It's my only niggle on the car which is superb but it is annoying when it's p1ssing it down!

Make sure you stick a padded seat cover under the seat or you'll dent the leather for good!
It's handy having a 4wd van as the other vehicle?
