Mate just listen to these guys honestly. Just get your ecu mapped once you put all the mods or if you can stretch your budget go for a better ecu but don't sticky any other ecu in. Every car isnte the same. I know this as one of my mates done on it his sccob and started boosting it and kaboom engine went bang.

im listning mate, ive already said im not fitting it im just trying to learn at the same time rather than just not do it!

so a prodrive ecu isn't a p1 ecu? lol excuse my ignorance mate im just trying to learn a little! see when they are for sale they say prodrive p1 ppp so I presumed they are the same?

De cat 4" bellmouth downpipe
3" straight through de cat pipe + SS RS*R Backbox
sti tm intercooler
440cc yellow injectors,
pipercross induction, Forge dump valve
On an un mapped car you'd gain more power by putting it back the way it was tbh

Has the engine already been rebuilt or have you just painted the manifold ? Only you're heading in the right direction for killing engines with bolt ons

don't know, I bought it like this, so should I presume its been remapped! how can I tell? can someone tell just by hooking it up? cheers

Don't assume anything.
Take it to a specialist mapper and get them to check it.

see numerous ones that should have been mapped but arent or have had parts removed when sold etc

mobile and yorkshires no issue.

if you are planning more mods then best to sort them and get them fitted just before and then it can be checked and mapped appropriately

good good, just got a td05 to go on I think everything else should be ok? what sort of price would I be looking at? to check n map? cheers
