Mini Blobeye project

Some slight delays
I have been conned on the OS Giken clutch I bought. It turns out the clutch is completely knackered and is only fit for the bin. So I am now back to square one searching for another clutch, with a withering budget
I'm just hoping PayPal will see sense with the dispute, and refund me my hard earned!
Not a happy bunny!
Rob
Ps If anyone know of a clutch ideal for my power requirements of say 460/400 please let me know

No the seller has argued the dispute, so its in PayPal's hands.
the seller is stating the clutch was in perfect working order when he sent it me, and now its been 3 weeks since I bought, that I am now complaining because I have wrecked it myself
In actual fact from the day the clutch was "Delivered" in a box to a reputable Subaru Specialist, to the day I arrived with my car for the said work to be undertaken was 13 days.
The box was not opened from the day it arrived until the day I was turning up. In fact I actually dropped the car off, drove away in a Courtesy car, and was later told the same day the clutch was trashed!
3 Witnesses at the garage (All staff) and 1 customer all viewed the parts, and to be honest you would need to be an idiot to think the clutch is fine. The plates are worn right down to the metal
Anyway its now with PayPal, there is little I can do apart from bang my head on the table, and hope I find a replacement clutch soon.
Rob
PS for what its worth - my car has been off the road for the last two weeks, as City link lost my headlights in the post, so the car could not have "destroyed" the clutch if someone did phantomly install it, as it wasn't driveable

Petty update, but still, it's an update.
I contacted PayPal by phone regarding the dispute I have with the seller of the OS Giken clutch. I'm being awarded a full refund when I post the clutch back
I have bought yet another Twin plate Exedy, as I know these are good, and will be a perfect bit of kit for my requirements.
The car has had a full service, inc all the upgrade parts, and will be mapped tomorrow

Not sure to be honest, trying not to get too hooked up on specific numbers. It's expected to be around 450+ though if everything goes smoothly.
That did cross my mind, but I could do without any more hassle. The pleb is still saying I must have used and ruined the clutch in the short time it was at the garage, in a box, on the shelf, awaiting a booking slot for the work, to then prove it was fecked!

Interested to see how you do Rob, saw your car on the ramp at Bri's when I picked mine up on Friday....thought it was running a MD321 though not aSC46?
I am hoping for 450bhp this week when its stuck on the rollers also.

At least it almost done now, it's been a strange development.
I'll be ringing either Brian or Andrew tomorrow, so I'll get a full spec and maybe some power figures up for some Xmas pub talk
How's is your getting on? What you running?
Rob
Ps
How did my car look underneath? Lol

Yer Brian mentioned it was a 321 pal so presume he has checked? Was up in the air so couldn't look myself, Chris was swearing at the gearbox doing your clutch! Looked fine mate, didn't want to get in Chris's way but looked straight.
I got a MDX321T billet with a V wheel, the usual supporting mods - GT spec headers, HS up pipe, open mouthed downpipe, 3" exhaust, 850 lateral injectors, HDI FMIC, 450LPH Walbro pump, Sytec FPR, MAFless map, CAIK. Also got light weight pulleys, AC delete and lightened flywheel. Just had the engine mounts upgraded as it was pulling itself off them! Fingers crossed 450BHP with a good run
Will get the RR print out up this week time permitting

Bolton.....I bought the HKS twin plate off you pal few months back
Yup standard engine...... keeping eyes out for the right forged 2.1 CDB at the minute. Seems sweat as a nut though right now, its only done 60K and was standard until 12 months ago, about 6k miles.

Question!
How did you manage to the the RHS hella horn behind the grill?
I'm trying to fit mine to my blobeye but the power steering cooler seems to be in the way?
Any fitting pointers will be great!
Cars looking good!

Yup was johns car previously. Was trying to get bits off it from Bri, but he wasn't having it so ended up buying it.
Have had to do a fair few bits to get it to my liking but I am getting close now
Lets see the vids !!!

the clutch now sorted thanks to Cams Performance, so with all the "issues" now sorted, and the performance near what I wanted (probably better, but I'm always striving for more) I shall start on the other things on my list.
Set of front, and maybe rear brake discs. Tempted by a set of floating god speeds, or maybe even just upgrade on general
Lights and bulbs to challenge, I might have a go at making the rear more symmetrical.
May look to install an oil cooler in the bonnet scoop area, not decided yet as temps haven't got passed 105.
Redress the engine bay.
Stencil the intercooler, yet to be disclosed in the design.
May face light the dash with 05+ model.
May change the trim for something less blue inc carpet.
May spray the centre of the steering wheel satin black.
New double din stereo being sourced.
Still undecided on the wheels, the depth looks good in Gold, I don't think the same effect will be there in gun metal or black. Also think Silver won't look right, hmmm decisions decisions
Yet to debadge the boot, and remove stickers.
Not much of an update I'm afraid
