My advice is if you have a Blob wrx then the safest mods to do are PPP, sure it won't set the world on fire but the map was done by prodrive and they know a thing or two about subarus, gives about 260bhp and loads of torque, and just about anyone in the engine mapping section on here can re-flash it in for you, all you need is an intercooler silicone Y pipe.

Then you can pretty much rag it how you like, mine is coming up on 100k and won't ever see a mappers lap top.
Yes I was thinking same things

Oh my gosh - don't you think people are being a little harsh ? We are not in a punctuation forum for a start and second I hit the limiter in mine now as again with no issues, I'm pretty sure most do.

To the op - I'm pretty sure you have just been unlucky.

Where can I get one for that price 1400 is fited with a years warenty which is really cheap .there 1200 for a engine on e bay and then there's the fitting plus all the people I spoke to about building a forged engine for me said its about 3.5 grand and no Warrenty plus it may be stronger but I would have to change turbo and all for more power plus map and everything else lookin at way more than cars worth

This has to be a classic wind up and serious condender for the worst wrote thread of the year
Trying to get my head round all the info you have given us and I need to lie down and recover but
A months warrenty ?
I'm sure a trader has to give 3 months by law
You getting this engine build by some company ive never heard of for £1400 ?
That's seems cheap wonder why ?

Subarus are wonderful machinery
We only know of 2.5 engines that go pop

I think this could be a ten pager

We do need photos of this car you have so we can discuss the contents even more

Also paragraphs and spaceing sentences out helps us mere mortals try to work out why they teach such poor grammar now in school

Ha ha I no I dnt use full stops too lazy plus left school at a young age 1400 for a engine swap they're national engine centre they on the net supply and fit engine and a years warenty yes 3 month Warrentys is norm for traders plus if you have a issue within 3 months by law they should do somthing but he dnt want to no and I had the map so I can't be bothered its just strange I no how reliable and strong a wrx should be But two gone in 3 months see in the classic shape the blamed it on poor fuel for the cause of detonating because of imports and that then new age bugs and blobs were lookin prity reliable to me the 2.5 disasters then bad problems with the new shape 07 models then in 09 I mean its not the best is it this is why I got a mint 2004 for with low miles car is totally immaculate even has grease all over the engine from the factory and never been maped its a realy nice car only thing I can think is older engine low miles it has full service but because of condensation build up low mile engines should be serviced more often
