As above Japspeed is good for money and can only recommend, but if you are going above 500-550bhp I would go with HDI or Hyperflow

We run Japspeed FMIC at 490bhp and car has been used like on track or drag,we never have any problems with this kit and temps has been too good

HDI people run above 600bhp without the single issue,APS not sure if I would buy, personally if no money object then Lateral or AH Fabrication radiator/intercooler combo,Hyperflow Monster, which will cost you like APS/Perrin

Comparing those FMIC,only Harvey(RIP) tested them, but still nobody tested them head to head on same car/same dyno etc.,if yes then this will end all those speculations

The Hybrid / HDi intercoolers are head and shoulders above the generic/rebranded intercoolers sold for £199 on here and on ebay.

The Hybrid/HDi coolers were tested against the APS that people assumed was better due to the fact it cost 2 or 3 times the price. The Hybrid/HDi cooler proved to be superior than the APS.

There is a very good reason why Time Attack Pro cars choose the Hybrid/HDi intercoolers season after season over the more expensive branded intercoolers - and it's not the price, it's the performance. The Hybrid / HDi coolers are comfortably handling 850bhp on track!

Fitting £199/generic/rebranded/bar and plate intercoolers is a false economy IF you are bothered by getting the most out of your setup in terms of performance and efficiency. The cheap bar and plate coolers have a higher pressure drop and inferior flow when compared to quality tube and fin coolers. The £199/generic bar and plate coolers do have a market for those not concerned with getting the most out of their setups, we used to sell them for £160 and they flew out of the door.
