Surely Andy would have a print out for the power figure or does he not keep that sort of thing? Turbo type would definitely help justify the claimed power TD0520G maybe?

But the turbo says IHI on it and the bloke at the meet (who was obviously a world expert on Impreza turbos) said it was an upgrade from standard!

Come on fella, there is a way to sell a car, especially on an enthusiasts forum and basing your facts on what some bloke told you at a meet, will always get you in the sticky stuff on here.

Just be honest and tell everyone exactly what you DO know. Not what you have been told.

Not having a dig, just trying to point out that if you continue down this road, you will just put people off. It might pay you to get it rolling roaded by a specialist so that you can be 100% sure about what you are trying to sell.

If it is your first scooby, 300bhp may well feel like 380bhp to you. But you have no reference point.

And do not ignore the fact that it has a different bumper than standard. Even you yourself are trying to sell it based on its rarity. With that has to be some originality or at least an explanation as to why it has been changed. Or, as in the case, just say you don't know. But don't dismiss it as insignificant.

The same thing happened on here around a year ago and once certain checks were made, it turned out that the car had been a write off. The seller also got a little defensive when questions were asked and certain members were having a pop at myself and another member for asking the questions.

I think that was a type r too.

Once you understand all of the above, have a read through the thread so far and you will see why some people are saying that some things just don't add up.

Buy the way, it does look like a minter.

How is the roof vent stuck on? Most members would want to take it off. Is there a hole cut under the vent or is it just cosmetic?

Are you sure the bonnet and boot are aluminium? Have you tried putting a magnet to them and checking?

Do you know who the previous owner was and if he's on here?

Sorry for the Spanish inquisition
