Bmi is a bit misleading. It doesn't actually take in to account body tissue composition. My bmi is 28 currently and that's after losing quite a bit of weight. According to the bmi calculator my ideal weight is 69-86 kilos. At that weight I'd look emaciated!

MY and the Shreksta have a lot in common - I'm the perfect weight for nearly 7 ft, according to BMI.

(Shame I'm only 6'1"....)

At my ideal weight for my height, according to BMI, I'd be lighter than I was at 14, instead of my svelte 17 stone .

They are talking about revising BMI anyway as it has never taken into account the larger frame, apart that is from a recent half arsed attempt to say that if your wrists are over a certain size then you can allow a little slippage.

Every time I go to the doc's I get regarded as a potential stroke/diabetes/heart disease etc. victim.

Until they take the blood samples and get the results.

I don't look the sort that can do a fairly arduous 2-3 hour walk up and down our hills but I can (it's partly how I lost 3 stone in 10 weeks last year, before putting 1/2 of it back on).

I'm not missing my Indians for anyone (not even to give the car a chance of a decent 0-60 time ).

Like me, last year I had a medical for a Cat D licence and the "Doc" commented on my "cool" blood pressure - ( I didn't tell her she wasn't my type )...

I love cycling, and last BH I did the red route in Dalby Forest....
The look on the faces of the "youngsters" when caught up by a 50+ on a decade old bike, without a GoPro or a helmet was hilarious....

dunx

P.S. I also love my aircon , what use is 600 quintillion BHP if you are too dehydrated to turn the steering wheel ?

Age is fun sometimes isn't it...rocked up to the local mountain bike hot spot on a crappy borrowed bike with just bouncy forks, shorts, tshirt and my knackered bmx lid and upset lots of twenty somethings on full on silly money shiny downhill bikes, full faces and more pads than Ive seen in my life

Apparantly I'm not allowed back

Weight was a major issue for me on a trip down to Devon last year, half way home I stopped to stretch my legs when I noticed the rear passenger tyre was rubbing on the arch.i had to get the missus to drive the rest of the way home,as if that wasn't bad enough, she kept asking why I didn't want to drive anymore most of the way home and I didn't have the ***** to tell her why

Oh god, I took two heffalumps to a conference last year. I have never driven so slowly in my life as when I cornered even slightly my tyres would rub.

Well you wouldn't lie about your weight, and I'm sure you wouldn't risk the wrath of the STi side by putting 'WRX' as part of your username unless it was true and you are a believer.

Would you ?

Oh, and I'm sure the gurus on here wouldn't be wrong about a Spec C being 90 Kg lighter than a 'standard'

You haven't taken the boot and bonnet off have you, and taken the seats out?
