That makes more sense now as that is £72 which is the same as Lateral.

 

Got a few bits done today, power steering pump alternator in ac in and injectors are in. Run into 2 issues,

1 can not remember which injector cable goes to which injector on the drivers side, as my bits of tape came off

2 the injector connector doesn't fit think I need a top slot connector

Think I need a phase 2 connector or something... Joy...

 

I might be able to help you there...I've got to swap my phase II connectors for top feed

How are you doing it? are you cutting the connectors and soldering them?? Is there not a company about that supply adapters? Something like this sort of thing..

well I was going to cut them and solder a new set on but if they are that cheap I may as well buy some of them...nice one matie

there are loads of variants so I'm sure I'll be able to find some that fit...just want to ask if there are any disadvantages over cutting and soldering, I wouldn't have thought so but silly not to check

About the radar detector,I would suggest have look on Valentine One,this is best on the market,yes is expensive,but is using real data and not pre-loaded data(which are same as Garmin/TomTom etc)

Garmin with POI and speed detector POI is working for us,we are used Road Angel with Garmin and both has detected same place for speed camera/red light etc

I have already brought the road angel, only paid £60 for it..

 

Sold my injectors as was not keen on cutting them down to make them fit and funny enough the same injectors came up forsale but with the plugs as well. But these plugs were pretty mint condition.



So took the old connectors out and new ones in, which was surprisingly easy.

Got some of the pipe work in and rest of the electrics in, hopefully manifold will be back tomorrow so I can fit the turbo as well.

Looking to run without a DV as don't like them as I was told that the md turbos can support dv delete... Well I hope so. Just need to find some dv blanking plugs from somewhere..

Thanks bud, do you think it's really advisable to run a dv delete on my md321s, have been told that it supports dv delete but worried as it does not have a anti surge housing, and as much as I love turbo flutter, I love my turbo more

 

ahhh, I have a better idea then, Run a manual jiggle valve/boost controller on the dump valve.

put it in line with the vac line to the DV.

This is the set up i run on mine, adjust the MBC so it flutters on low boost and dumps on high boost

 

How long ave you been running it like that bud?

Got a little bit more done, brand new exhaust studs in manifold, lateral performance exhaust manifold in, rcm up pipe in, turbo in, oil and water feed in too. Also one blanking plugs in. Nearly finished. Hoping to get it mapped within a couple weeks now, but will have to see what else come up.

 

is that the only way the oil feed can run? looks a bit stretched?

Looking good though, alot of work gone into this. did you get a jiggle valve?

yes mate, absolute piece of ****, really is simple. And gives best of both worlds so should help prolong the life of the turbo, and can give some pretty wesome noises too!

It took me longer to make a bracket for mine than to fit it lol

 

just worried about me setting it up wrong and causing more damage, how do you know how far to adjust?

 

It cant damage anything, so no worries about getting it wrong!

And you just adjust it until you get the desired effect, I went for wind it right down and gradually wind it open until it starts dumping at the required boost

 

Can I ask a silly question. Does it go on the pipe to the actuator or the turbo housing?
