XBox One or PS4?
Main thing annoying me with the ps4 is when playing bf4 with a couple of mates the party chat thing is absolutely crap compared to what it was like on the 360, it would seem when we are in party chat you can still here Spanish blokes shouting at their tv's, not to mention the mic is utter ****e.
Also they don't seem to sell a wireless mic thing like I had for the 360? Just daft little wired things which will make it look like you're flying a plane or summit.

Well I now have a nice big black brick in my living room, opened my Xbox One this afternoon and set it up.
It started carrying out the update and then reset itself, it gets to the green splash screen and then goes no further. It powers up the Kinect but nothing else happens.
Having searched on Google it would appear to be a pretty common problem, this doesn't bode well for Xbox One given that the famous 360 RROD issues at least had the good grace to allow some use before the machine spat it's dummy out.
I'm not very impressed as you can imagine, oh well back to Tesco tomorrow for a refund and this'll be the last time I trust Microsoft to deliver a fully working console.
Thank god for the PS4, it's been faultless since day one and what I'd advise people to buy - does anyone want to buy an extra Xbox One controller with the play and charge set plus an unopened Forza 5 - I'll be putting them up for sale tomorrow.

Did you restart it yourself during the update Ty thinking it had stopped? Mine took an age, I just let it do its thing and watched TV.
Phone microsoft, Ive read they are giving people free games if they run into any issues.....worth a shot, IMO its a cracking machine and worth the wait.
Sort it out you drama queen

I'd really looked forward to kicking your ar$e on Forza as well, call me old fashioned but when I buy something I expect it to work without fault out of the box.
I've tried creating an online advanced exchange via the Microsoft support site but that doesn't work at the moment either.
It'll just give you enough time to up your game Tubby rather than trash talking, you should be used to coming first anyway but that'll change soon.
That'll be inbreeding Tubby, perhaps you bogtrotters like to perform sexual acts with loaves like an Irish version of American Pie.
Well the XBox One is now restored to working glory, I spoke to MS this morning and they sent me the instructions to allow me to force the XBO to update itself of a USB memory stick.
I'm just downloading FIFA 14 and installing Forza 5 which has a pretty big update patch as I type this.
Pretty impressed by the support I've received so far, the user interface to me isn't as good as on the PS4 but then again I'm not a fan of the Windows 8 Metro tiles either.
