The op asked if a car could actually catch fire if an engine let go and I was just showing that it can.
Please don't think I was implying you don't build good engines, thats not what was intended. I merely posted the pic to show it can and does happen, even to top tuners like yourselves.

I'll second that. If you never break it, you don't know where the limits are. If you don't know where the limits are, you're an "also ran"

Fwiw I thought it was a good one for exactly the opposite reason - that it shows that even when professionals build engines they (the engine) can always break, or be driven beyond their limits.

The difference is that those limits are far higher for pros/track cars, and of course way above anything experienced in day-to-day driving (either car or owner).

Lower the professionalism of the build and you bring the breaking limits MUCH closer to daily life.
