How can you possibly complain about the religious 'looking down their noses' when you more than most sit in judgement and look down your nose a pretty much everyone, religious or not?

It was a perfectly legitimate question. You were getting all high and mighty (forgive the pun) about religious people looking down their noses. You cannot make that claim and at the same time look down your nose at pretty much everyone yourself...can you?

 

He does have a fair point though. You cannot claim one is being a gayer especially when one is being a gayer themselves.

This thread has taught me something. Muslims and Christians. We have so much in common yet we are so apart. Why should we not unite once and for all and just make fun of atheists instead. It makes perfect logical sense.

We are very much similar faiths with similair beliefs and we both believe non believers go to hell along with gayers. Why should we hate each other? It makes no sense at all.

Like you said Martin, look back at my thread history and you will see I haven't got a problem with Immigration when they can come here and bring something with them, my problem with Immigration is alot of these people bring nothing but take alot..

Martin, I seem to remember saying something along the lines of our money would be better spent at home first rather than sent abroad and end up in some bent politicians pocket, you really can be a drama queen at times, only a twisted woman can twist words the way you can.

Tis always best to fix yourself before fixing someone else. Third world governments do tend to lavish it up a bit. Especially the African ones.

I'm sure if you was a poor immigrant with no prospects in your home country you wouldn't jump at the chance for a few freebies in a different country. I'm sure you'll be all stuff upper lipped and mumble about self pride whilst all your mates and peers jumped ship.

 

But I'm not from a poor country and I'm not after freebies, I would rather see my Tax money spent here rather than given to a corrupt country, like say Nigeria.

why doesnt one of your gods (any one i dont mind) just appear on a mountain top and and shoot out some lightning or some other attention grabbing spectacle and announce to the world that he does indeed exist and we will all be in a place of worship by the morning.

 

Simply because they don't bloody exist, that's why, only some people can't come to terms with this as they have devoted large parts of their lives to what is basically the Invisible Man.

There are two general differences in layman lingo:

1. You (not you personally, but Muslims in general) are multiplying, and Christians are decreasing in number with too many Christians converting to atheism. No wonder the fistful number of Christians are threatened by you (Islam, I mean).

2. Remaining Christians are historically tactful, whereas Muslims don't know jackshirt about tact.

Now you can see why you and them have different bandwagons, hm?
