Thanks both, and this is the behemoth of a ship which will be bringing the S202 to these shores.

Good news Ty,
Glad you found yourself a real gem, the car looks brand new and must be if it a 4+ condition, basically unmarked car as new..before I bought my car 3 half years ago I spent most of my free time searching Asnet auction site in Japan for a 4+ car, so you done well with such a rare example.
Hopefully you luck has changed with this new purchase, and restore your confidence in Scooby ownership.

I saw that, I wish they'd hurry up as I want my car.
As those that know me will confirm patience isn't one of my virtues, but in this case I haven't got much choice in the matter.

It does need a couple of minor paintwork issues addressed but nothing that Ryan can't take care off without problem.
The importer bought my car for stock after sourcing Stu's car for him so for me the process was relatively quick and painless as there was no auction sale involved.
I'd have loved a yellow S202 but they're as rare as rocking horse poo but you can't be too greedy when trying to source a rare car.
I'm over the moon with the condition it's in and late October can't come soon enough for me

I bet it can't Ty..
Waiting is one of the good parts of purchasing a new car, although prepare for some sleepless nights, no matter how old you are if your a car enthusiast there is no better felling.!!

Nice S202's, probably seen more 22B's on the road then I have S202's.
Used to be a yellow one around Birmingham, which had a blobeye front end conversion!!!!

It looks like an 'ordinary' ship to me and not a proper Autoliner car transporter which to me looks like a giant ferry.
At least the shipping is insured anyway.

I had seen that video and it certainly opened my eyes but looking at that they were all literally lose on the top deck, even if they hadn't of been bashed to oblivion the sea air won't have done the metal any favours either.

Always had a soft spot for the S202, get plenty of pics up when it arrives!!!

It will be a while before I get a chance to take some pics but once it's here and finished I will get that sorted out.
I hope so, although they want hostages, as much I as I like the S202 that's what the shipping insurance is for.

Well today was a bit of a sourcing of some goodies for the S202 and I managed to acquire :
Defi 60mm BF white illumination gauges, a set of 6 - for oil temp, oil pressure, boost pressure, coolant temp, fuel pressure and exhaust temp. This set will come with a Defi/ATi pod plus an A pillar triple pod as well.
McGard wheel nuts, I sent these away to McGard and have waited nearly 4 months for warranty replacements to arrive. They have been out of production for a while and they finally arrived back with me today.
So I still have left to find the following before the car arrives:
Prodrive STi sports cat and centre section.
Front bumper lip spoiler.
Zunsport lower grille in black.
Subaru door window deflector set.
And I think that will just about cover it, as I have said before I am not going overboard with the mods just some minor cosmetic mods and a remap for UK fuel.

I spent all of yesterday delivering parts to the south coast, into London and up to Leicestershire. The last remnants of the Spec C are now nearly all gone, I have kept some parts for use in the S202.
I did pickup a set of Works Emotion 18'' wheels which Ryan will be refurbishing for me, I'm not sure which colour yet but bronze or gunmetal are front runners.

White wheels for me look great when clean and well maintained, and they do look great on a blue car.
You've given me for thought.
Gunmetal / anthracite can look very nice indeed and is the other colour choice I'm considering.
White wheels can look brilliant as I've said already, it's certainly far higher in my thoughts than it was before.

A great wheel, had these in 17" on my old car. Stick to the original colour, don't mess with perfection.
Looking forward to seeing the new car. Bug's have grown on me over the years.
You may want to start looking for better brakes, I wasn't that impressed with the standard brembo's on my newage. The car is to heavy (But then I was used to 6 pots on my old type R). The porsche set up I have now is awesum.
