I don't think there is any real need for clear backs.., what can you see??
If you could just make fronts that will fit the standard rear covers... IMO that would be the way to go.

Now next... Are you sure that the back covers are different on avcs and non avcs??? Cause I didn't think they were... And if non avcs and avcs front covers were put side by side checking the bolt holes would verify. And I really wouldn't bother about clear rear covers..

Now to play devils advocate here, no offence intended, but I think feedback is a good thing... I understand its costly to get these made but I think 100 quid for the 2 side covers and potential 50 for the middle cover on the offer and then a 200 quid normal selling price for the 3 piece kit.. Would have you selling these and very importantly targeting the U.S market..

Definitely the centre cover needs looking at over the rear covers... As it's where you can see important stuff like tensioner etc etc

IMO if you can't price it like this and have to price higher to cover cost... I don't think it's going to go anywhere tbh.. Hope you take that the way I intend it as feedback mate.

 

The main advantage having clear covers in my eyes is so one can easily check the timing at a glance. This won't work if you don't have the centre section as you can't check the crank.

I appreciate Chris has a significant outlay associated with this hence the need to do it in stages. In an attempt to move this on how many people would be prepared to pay in full for the outers and a 50% deposit on the centre to allow Chris to speed up the centre section. I would be prepared to do this if I knew 100% I would have both by the middle of March.

 

The middle section of this part will be next on our list for sure. Just need to to get these ones made and proven first . It will most likely be January when we place the order for the centre, If someone has one laying around they can send me then well get it drawn up and quoted ready
