Chris, your best bet is to use AVCS covers...
Avcs covers will fit non Avcs cars aswell as AVCS cars so.. 1993 -2007

Non AVCS covers will only fit 1993-2000 and you then need a different cover to work 2000-2007

Makes sense, then your only having to get tooling made for one type of cover, yet the avcs ones can be used by all

Correct me if i'm wrong but won't the fronts and backs have to be made - so we would have to make 4 pieces instead of just 2 ?
The way I was doing it was we was just changing the front covers

Chris, if you make moulds for AVCS heads and Non-AVCS heads then you will have to make 6 parts, 2 backs, which will fit both types (I think) and 4 fronts (again I think as I'm sure it's the front that changes, if not, then reverse the numbers, still 6 in total tho), whereas if you made them to suit AVCS only (which if its true, will fit all motors) then you'll only have to make 4 pars, 2 fronts, 2 rears. Does that make sense? And anyone care to correct me if I've read it wrong?

I am not 100% sure if the rear sections are all the same, maybe someone can confirm, but I cant see any need for the rear sections to be made clear.
For me I want to be able to visually check the belt, tensioner and pullies etc quickly at events. Making the rears clear wouldn't really serve any purpose and would make them harder to fit as the timing belt would need to be removed to remove the pullies etc to fit the rear sections.

The front would need to be the 3 sections for me to be interested i.e two end pieces and the centre section.

Chris I can possibly get a hold of a set of single AVCS covers for you to borrow for the moulds but would need them back.

Default Update final decision / important info.

Ok all , thanks for waiting .

I would of been nice to make all covers that fit all models, but that would mean making tooling for the rear covers ( which they bolt into) and the rear covers aren't really needed, and would be a pain to fit.

So firstly, we are going to arrange for the covers to be made for the left and right only to suit all 2001-2007 models.

A sample set will be made for us which should take 2 weeks from order.

Price for the for the finished covers for this groupbuy £135 inc vat and delivery.

I would ask if a deposit of £50 could be paid to our paypal or bacs - this would help us out with the project.

If anyone is willing to pay us in full before November 1 st then I will offer extra discount at £120 all in!

Retail for the covers will be more but under £200.

You can see the final design before and the material spec.

You not doing the centre section Chris? May lose interest with that decision as TBH it'll look pretty pants without the clear centre section.

Surprised at the decision not to do the centre section Chris for me being able to see what's going on at the tensioner and pulley's is critical. I assumed it was the complete front covers.

We will do them Arch, but after the two end covers are done .... it is ££££'s to get each mould made, So I just need to make sure these are good before we start spending more money.
We are going ahead with the ends any way, and when we do make the centre it will just bolt on any way
Hope you can understand my point
