Cool Clear cam belt covers

Been talking to a manufacturer of these for a while and I can now offer them for ej20 2001-2007 models if we get enough interest.

Nobody else makes these ,. and after some research many people have looked into it in the past

Evo ones .......

My previous post on another thread ...

Ok, so I have some news ... well the first supplier was full of crap and couldn't make these, second supplier could but we was looking at a 20k investment
When I thought it was all over , another supplier has turn up trumps ,..

Now, it is still quite a big investment from my side so I would need a min about of 25 people to make this happen.. I have to buy 100 units and the mould is expensive but would pay for itself over a few years .

So if I can get 25 serious parties then I will make it happen,, firstly for the 2001-2007 covers @ £108+vat a set...
When I retail them ( if it happens) they will be closer to £200 I think - maybe more..
If people show the interest they I will pay out for the mould and sample units to be made,. if it goes well which i'm sure it will, we will then make them for classics and 2008- on cars!

what do you think ??

thanks chris

I could be interested - the only downside being the subsequent cost of something to go inside that is worth looking at

Chris I assume the 2001-2007 will fit an EJ22 with 2.5STI single AVCS heads. If so I am in.

I will find out Chris, I suspect they will fit as the covers are newage 2.5 STI AVCS so cant see there being any difference in any of the single AVCS cam covers. Great idea this, especially for track based cars as you can see what's happening to the belt etc.
