At last something Android users and Apple users can agree on This thread really needs to be allowed to die.

 

The rules:

Skint - low end PC
Need something that works reliably and synchs easily - Mac
Gaming geek or in very few cases, proper power user - high end PC.

And for phones:

Skint - Android cheapo
Need something that works and isn't the size of a plasma TV - iPhone
Wants to bang on all day about screen size and camera resolution while needing a support vehicle to carry phone - Nokia Lumia or Galaxy S4.

Yes but I will translate for you - iPhones just work. There's no faff. Android phones work too but they are a PITA; I've had many.

Meanwhile anti iPhoners go on and on and on about how terrible they are. Most iPhone owners simply don't give a stuff. We're happier with our rip off, low tech machines that just work. I find the amount of puff and wind expelled by anti i-Phoners almost as amusing as the ardent Apple fans who are on the same level.

Tech geeks who should probably get out more.

 

My S4 just works, what's your point?

My wife has iPhone 4s, prefers mine and will go Android next time. My niece has iPhone 5 and thinks my phone is better but glibly afmits she would stick with Apple because "it's Apple" which shows how good Apple marketing is as opposed to their products.

Apple own figures indicate far less tablets were sold, IDC and other research confirms that apple's market lead has been overtaken by android, you are using anecdotal evidence of browser usage in one continent to base your flawed argument that there were more apple tablets, but that just isn't the case.

No, I'm sure there are way more Android Tablets and way more Android and in fact Nokia phones. But what's being pointed out here is although they've been sold - for peanuts - they're not being used. This is backed up by my own evidence on 9 relatively high traffic websites, without advertising.

 

Clearly the extra traffic is caused by all those kids playing online gaimes on their parents ipads racking up thousands of pounds of transactions on their parents bills.

 

Yup, the same ones that know their parents pin codes and withdraw all their cash, the dumb ones.

 

Well then all I can say to that is iPads are favoured by the dumb.
