I don't agree.
Everyone knows that Subarus look and sound the best.
I wouldn't give 6p let alone 6K for anything else.
Anyone who even considers anything el

It's funny because when I was buying mine I was conscious of the "attention" (both good and bad) it may get as the VR6 I had before it got attention EVERYWHERE it went ALL the time.
As it happens I don't seem to get that much attention in the STI even though it's spotlessly clean 99% of the time. I get the usual "I bet that can drink" or "I bet thats not slow" and every so often get a good convo about "how fast" they are etc. But it definately doesn't get as much attention as the VR got.
I've also had an old lady cover her ears once and I wasn't even giving it beans (forged engine, piperX panel filter and standard exhaust). Also one time, after a group of youths cycled past and tried to spit on it I turned round and gently and slowly pulled up behind them to the entrance of the bridge they were going under then booted it! It scared the shizzle out of one of the lads so much he fell off his bike!! (Don't panic he was in no danger, the footpath is raised and has a handrail).
I quite like the fact it doesn't get too much attention tbh and it's probably down to the fact mine isn't blue unlike 90% of them out there! People see a silver impreza and just think it's a boggo Impreza. They see a blue one and because its blue it must be "one of those fast ones"!
But yer, as a youngster I used to also think "wow" everytime one of those "rally cars" drove past, fond memories

A few weeks ago she said to them "did you hear that blue car that came down the street yesterday? It sounded like it had engine and exhaust trouble".
A Valleys street, double-parking for the whole length, children out playing, 5-10mph maximum.
It has its advantages. The youngsters have far longer to shout "Subaru !!!!" and give me a thumbs up.

have to agree do see them turn for both reasons. think those that enjoy cars its liking the car but for those that a car is just an A to B transport then its the second reaction LOL
